Not just any yam...water yam is said to favor twin birth.

Also....if there are twins in you and your wife's extended families....your chances improve.

I'm telling ya. I know that of yam research for a village in Igbo-Ora, somewhere in Oyo state. Majority of the households, if not all, have a set of twin in the family. The common food there is their yam. Even, the yams are not left out. A farmer havested twin yam in that village
Now, I'm planning a trip to Igbo-Ora and get a lorry load of yams for my barn. I mean, I must get twins man!
