Neyoor:how will they listen? accepting party supremacy is when it is constitutional and in the interest of the masses and not the party or have we a one party system in this country again? Let the party members be loyal to the party in due course but rebellion when it contradicts the people's right and constitution... |

Correction: Accept and Respect the Collective supremacy of the People you serve (Nigerians). Mr. President the election is over. Remember You are no longer the presidential candidate of APC. You are now the Nigerian president. Tread with caution. Do not diminish your role and get involved in their silliness. 2 Likes |

ionsman: Hypocritical buhari supporters as usual trivialize every statement Buhari made and failed to keep up with. Nobody helped him read the inaugural speech, he delivered it himself. Since he claimed to be for nobody , he should abide by it. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Bukola Saraki has mortgaged the victory of the party that was won at the highest cost. Winning an incumbent in Africa is at a great cost with a lot of people losing their lives and their investment. Some mortgaged all they worked for. He traded it with opponent. Surely, there will be a cost for betrayal. Where was he at chatham house? All the people that died in Rivers, Akwa Ibom and other states. The people that stood their ground despite AIT,NTA and other electronic and print media attacks. Those whose reputation was smeared and those elders and international communities who thought two party system is ideal for Nigeria as it had worked in Ghana. This is not politics. Under NPN, his father Senator Olusola Saraki became the Senate Leader (Senate Majority Leader) under the NPN Machinery. In the presence of Umaru Dikko, Senator Uba Ahmed, Richard Akinjide, Akinloye, etc,his father would not have betrayed NPN even if the combined seats of the opposition of UPN, NPP and others were more than NPN. His father dominated kwara politically and economically. All the few people that would have been very famous always died in their prime, person like Rear Admiral Lawal, Idiagbon and Adisa are all dead. Belgore tried no way. Now the son has started in another form. We shall see. Hope the 12 years effort of GMB and all the reputation and expectation from had not been traded |

This is very wrong, they should put the interest of the whole country in mind in the discharge of their duties, including those that did not vote for them. PMB is not showing democratic maturity here, he is not the President of APC, but that of Nigeria, including those who voted again him. Saraki is not the Senate President of APC either, he should execute the function of that office on behalf of Nigerians as stipulated to in the constitution and not on behalf of APC. 3 Likes |

Bugatie: PMB is a wise leader who will act when he needs to act. d party has problems because a faction of d ruling APC is working in cahoots wit d opposition PDP to undermine d APC. PMB as leader of d APC will be irresponsible not to call d erring members to order. d president is in order. |

This President is regrettably not urbane. You don't appeal as if you were issuing a command. Not organising an induction and mock exam for this President was a national mistake. |

linearity: My guy politics don't work that way anywhere in the world, you are elected to implement the manifesto of your political party which must be beneficial to all, you must first of all align with your party structure and identity, that is why when we vote, the names of the contestants are not on the ballot papers but that of the party and the Logo, chikena, may be when our constitution allows for independent candidates what you are saying here may suffice but for now, Party supremacy is key. PMB was naive of this at the beginning |

APC party supremacy = what Tinubu wants! Did Lawan ever say he wanted to be SP, is it not tinubu tht first flew that kite before lawan showed interest, and Tinubu did that because he wanted to protect himself and have control thru his stooge Lawan. Meanwhile Saraki had been nursing the idea of becoming SP for a long time. As for Dogara, he won fair and square and its the same reason that HOR don't want a Tinubu stoooge in Gbaja that's why he was rejected with the help of PDP who saw it as pay back time. APC shud better live with this mistake for the next 4years or they will complicate their matter. Tinubu don dey suspect Buhari, its the ministerial list that will confirm if he still has THE influence he is supposed wield. Akande was one of those whose name had been purported or speculated to be a minister. I think he has seen that things aint going their way hence his utterances that made Kawu Baraje describe it as rather unfortunate. Let's see how it goes. |

bornmekus: They can not try it, that will only serve as the beginning of their troubles & by now they are probably wearing out due to the saga on ground, creating enemies & disaffection unnecessarily...they still have a long way ahead in this assembly remember so they can bring it on if their engines have the capacity for the trip. |

linearity: Don't get it twisted. PMB is d leader of d APC. Some members of d ruling APC ar in cahoots wit d opposition PDP & ar undermining d APC. PMB was d cheerleader of d APC mantra - APC SAK - meaning APC at all levels during d elections. He succeeded in getting dat majority which d erring members hav traded away by aligning & giving unmerited favours like d Senate Vice-Presidency to d PDP. How irresponsible will it be 4 d leader to stay aloof & watch his house burn?. |

codedguy1: Lawan was never Tinubu's candidate, pls get that into your skull, Lawan was even Buhari's candidate, Tinubu only shifted ground for Lawan so he could have Lawan's people support in the House of rep for Gbajabamila who is more qualified to lead the house of rep after being a minority leader for long when Apc was in the opposition. Some fellows are only trying to reap where they did not sow or even did far less than the people who worked for the party to get to where they were now. Buhari was only sold a dummy thinking it was in his interest but alas he has discovered that some fellows only use the Tinubu's excuse to pursue their own agenda, their final target is to get Buhari himself and the C in C has now known this |
