Very cool headed. Though deceptively Docile, but he is very vicious in combat. Never lost a fight against my Caucasian (which is almost 2years older).

they are always free and on leash when a stranger comes in, but kept in their kennel when rainin,

From your story I suspect that either the female is not of the same breed with the male or she is too young to be mated.


It's important for you to know that Bitches don't allow mounting for the first few days of heat. It applies to your circumstance because I suspect that the female would have just come on heat and she wount have willingly allowed the male to mount her.

I advise you to separate them and take your female for mating in 5 days time plus. At the worst you may have puppies with different fathers

this will be her first time, and dogs are not allowed to mate on first heat, how long should I keep them separated?
