[quote author=sheweezy post=35421669] According to grandmas they say it is inuwo in yoruba meaning colic in English. When I took him to the hospital, the doctor said he will outgrow it and we should not administer any drug. So i v left him. I also notice it is reducing sha. My Lo poos alot o, dont even know if it is after every feed but I observed it's quite a lot and was told it's normal. The quantity of the poo is always small, except maybe once or twice a day that it is much. I dont think we should worry much about these things. Yea they ar very correct cos my baby spent d 1st 2 mnths in d village.its inuwo nd he wil outgrow it bt press well wt hot water 2 relief him |

imnuflawal: @ 2mths baby is definitely 2 small. I tink I started @ 4mths or so. So saying I want 2 let u know its an addictive habit. My DS got so used 2 dat style of breastfeeding dat after I started work I 2 always back him cos once I want 2 put him down he expected me 2 lie wit him wit breast in his mouth. Itwas a sstressful situation. So wit my DD I always got up 2 breastfeed even @ night until she got used 2 sleepn off wen I put her down. But laziness has set in n I now breastfeed her lying down @ night which means weaning her ll b very difficult wen d time comes. But I feel its 2 early 2 lie n breastfeed a 2mths old baby. Pele. |

ritayoung: If you have a water heater in your bathroom, let the hot water flow continously while you sit in a chair with your baby in the bathroom. And if no water heater, put hot water in a bucket and sit close to it with your baby in an enclosed bathroom. The steam should get to your baby that way. Though I added a drop of Eucalyptus oil but my baby was 3months, eucalyptus oil may be too harsh for a 1 month. My daughter's paed advised I give her Vit C daily. |
