Searched online..can't find anything useful...

UK education provider is the UK university, college etc,u will be studying at basically should be a wholly registered UK university, while overseas higher education institution also is a UK university, college, etc but is not wholly a UK institution example is if there is a university of lagos london campus then it's regarded as overseas higher education provider. I don't really know the difference but in the list of verified sponsors, they're all called HEI

However, in my CAS, my school referred to itself as HEI. and it fully meets ur definitn of UK education provider and not that of HEI, as explained by you.

you wanted clarification between UK Education Provider and Overseas Higher Education Institution, if in the course of filling the form you find a place where they ask a question on who you paid accommodation or any fees to then you should choose UK Education Provider, i don't know what the form is like now but i do know know last year there was no HEI, it was just either the UK Education Provider or Overseas Higher Education Institution.

Pls how much did you pay for the IHS? The portal is telling me 225 pounds even though I see 150 pounds on their site.

I paid online with Zenith's mastercard send the IHS number to your school cus they would need it for your CAS. I saw the number on the CAS I received today.

its 225 the extra 75pounds is for the extra 4months on your visa.

Hi everyone, i applied for Uk student visa in Abuja early june and i got my visa in less than 4 working days. I wasnt given the new 30day temporary vignette tho. I was given the visa for my full study period. Valid from 21st Aug 2015- 30th Jan 2017. The start date on my CAS is 21st Sept 2015 and end date is 30th Sept 2016. I called my enrolment manager at Coventry University and told her about it and she said it is not a problem that it is because i applied early and as at when they issued my visa, they hadn't started issuing the temporary vignette for Nigeria. I want to know; even with getting my full study visa, do i still need the biometric residence permit?

Didn't you get an address when you made your visa application online? Alternatively you could enquire from your enrolment manager and give us a feedback 'cus these rules are new.

No i didnt get an address. I have gotten in touch with my enrolment manager again and she said i do not need the BRP since i was given the full study visa. N i was given this visa because i applied early and they hadn't started giving out d new temprorary visa for Nigeria as at then. N i was among d last batch of new students they gave out d old visa to. So she said i dont have any issues at all.

I have done an interview for a Masters research (MRes) at Plymouth university. They said I will be offered admission as I aced the interview. However, I just got an email saying the course is 2 year part time which doesn't support a tier 4 application. They asked me if I have some other way of remaining in the UK on my passport or visa
What do I do now? Please any helpful information will be greatly appreciated.

Yea. Sorry i forgot to include the TB test Cert. It was part of the documents i submitted. For my school, 66% of your tuition fee is what you would have to pay as deposit. Then on my part, before my CAS was ready to be issued, i paid my complete tuition fee so i only showed 7,380 pounds maintenance funds in my bank statement and application form.

I didn't apply for any scholarship but the school gave a discount of 2500 pounds.and on my tb test cert it reads "student without scholarship"

2. A frnd of mine's acct name is arranged in a way dat it doesn't correspond with d normal way she writes her name I.e. her middle name is used as her first name..instead of 'S.U.N' it is 'U.S.N' as her acct name.So she is asking if dat will yield any prob or shld she get an affidavit?
