"Coup succeed coups, we will no longer be at peace" Hassan Katsina
The fightings blew out on July 6 1967 two months after Colonel Ojukwu (blessed MM) declared Biafra a nation in may 1967...
What have we achieved so far...
Hardship and turmoil

Was it the igbos dat declared d war or d reverse?...
Asif igbos were d first to start agitating for secession.
I support what Ojukwu did, but after weighting d pros and cons, he shud hv tried hz best to end it in a non violent situation.

It is quite unfortunate that the problem that cause the war is still very much present in today's Nigeria.
Nothing has changed.
No lesson was learnt. We are still stuck in the same place.
Which way Nigeria.

In order to have peace prepare for war.. Adolf Hitler (1889-1945)

After taking into cognisance the above quote,IPOB had decided to prepare for war and this time, there'd be no mistakes! angry

If you look at every war that has been fought, on one side are a group of people fighting to be and on the other side are another group that are fighting to enslave them. In the Biafran war, who was fighting to free and was the oppressor? Ojukwu may have declared Biafra, but he never declared war. It was Gowon who fired first. My father was a captain in the Biafra Army. He went to war to express his right to self determination. 48 years on, the so called country called Nigeria is still as divided as it was in 1967.
