Hey bro.. Are you really listening to yourself? Do you know what impact if polygamous family impacting to especially the northern Nigerians..? If you r not going to marry up to 4 wives and devoice about two of three ( about 6-7 wives all together) then you ain't practicing what your religion tells you... I am a Christian and I am proud to let the world know.. As a Christian, I am bound to face persecution ( so my Bible tells me, the early Christians faced it and it's even happening in the middle east) I don't care about population.. The Bible says FOR ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN!!
Show us where in the Bible that commands you to marry only one wife only quran says to marry "only one"
if you cannot quote it then you shouldn't be proud, be shameful bruh..

@dravebcreighton.
What's the essence of this lengthy copy and past? Answer my qustions with ur senses since you are in a religion you are sure of. What is a prophecy? Lol. About the byzantine and the persians, was it a prediction by mohammed or prophecy? Talking about the body of Pharoah? The same pharaoh who persecuted the Jews? Mohammed prophesied abt him? From Moses to Jesus, how many generations? From Jesus to mohammed, how many generations? You mean mohamed prophesied abt that same pharaoh. WONDERS.
Now, pls answer this. Go straight to the point, no copy and past.
1). What did Mohammed say he was going after his dead? Jesus knew and told his followers what will happen concerning how he will suffer, die and then on the third day resurrect. And he said, I go to my father. John 16:5. Jesus knew. What abt mohammed?t.
Concerning what? Well...he did tell his daughter she will be the first of his family to die after him and she did. I don't know what exactly you're looking for.

2). Jesus made a promise to His followers. He said he will go and prepare a place and then come back to take his followers so that where he will be, there they Will also be.
What did mohammed promise his followers? Eternal erection to shag 72 virgins whose breast will never slag?
Interesting thing about these 72 virgins, it seems no christian ever seems to know any valid Islamic source that reports this.

3). Christians have a lively hope of their saviour returning for them, will mohammed return? And as what? What will mohammeds role be at resurrection?
Jesus won't return for you, he will return for all of mankind, he will disown you christians.

There is no prophet between him (the Prophet Jesus [as]) and me. He will certainly descend. Recognize him when you see him. He is of medium height, of a reddish white color. He will wear two sets of yellow dyed clothing. Water will fall from his hair even if it does not rain. He will fight with people for Islam. He will slay the antichrist [make him ineffective] and then remain for exactly forty years on earth. Then he will die, and Muslims will perform the prayers for him. (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

And how come allah talked only to mohammed and stopped. My jehovah talks to me, does allah talk to u?
Pls no copy and pas
Looooool! Does he now?

Are you for real...lol
@your username
.
Anyway, what I mean by last day here is that period where the obvious transition from "this life to the aftermath" occurs...in otherwords...death.
.
Pagan9ja, pls educate me about this religion called "paganism".
Would the contemporary native doctors be your members?

Ah I see.

Paganism is not one religion. It is an umbrella term for all pure ethnic/tribal religions that have existed since the dawn of mankind. albeit fulfilling certain criteria. which ive mentioned in one of my previous older topics. You may want to go through them to understand Paganism. IT is the religions of everyones forefathers including yours.

Yes those "native doctors" you mean Babalawos, etc.? Then Yes. if they perform religious functions as well.

Do you also believe in the existence of a supreme being...the creator of the universe whom christians call God (or Allah, according to Muslims)?
What's your view about creation?

Matthew 19:4-6

4 "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the
beginning the Creator 'made them male and
female,'

5 and said, 'For this reason a man will
leave his father and mother and be united to
his wife, and the two will become one flesh' ?

6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore
what God has joined together, let man not
separate."

I hope that alone has cleared your mind

FOR FUTHER CLARIFICATION

1 Corinthians 7:1-16

1 Now for the matters you wrote about: It is
good for a man not to marry.
2 But since there
is so much immorality, each man should have
his own wife, and each woman her own
husband.
3 The husband should fulfill his marital
duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her
husband.
4 The wife's body does not belong to
her alone but also to her husband. In the same
way, the husband's body does not belong to
him alone but also to his wife.
5 Do not deprive
each other except by mutual consent and for a
time, so that you may devote yourselves to
prayer. Then come together again so that
Satan will not tempt you because of your lack
of self-control.
6 I say this as a concession, not
as a command.
7 I wish that all men were as I
am. But each man has his own gift from God;
one has this gift, another has that.
8 Now to
the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good
for them to stay unmarried, as I am.
9 But if
they cannot control themselves, they should
marry, for it is better to marry than to burn
with passion.
10 To the married I give this
command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not
separate from her husband.
11 But if she
does, she must remain unmarried or else be
reconciled to her husband. And a husband must
not divorce his wife.
12 To the rest I say this
(I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who
is not a believer and she is willing to live with
him, he must not divorce her.
13 And if a
woman has a husband who is not a believer
and he is willing to live with her, she must not
divorce him.
14 For the unbelieving husband
has been sanctified through his wife, and the
unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her
believing husband. Otherwise your children
would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.
15
But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A
believing man or woman is not bound in such
circumstances; God has called us to live in
peace.
16 How do you know, wife, whether
you will save your husband? Or, how do you
know, husband, whether you will save your
wife?
