I think d usb cable attached to the charger also matters.i have the nokia usb cable that charges so fast,no matter what type of charger or laptop i attach the phone to.Too bad they dont sell the nokia usb cables,they only come with some phones.

Pick up that your charger now and look at the output power ratings; if you see 5V----1A or like this 5V----1000mA or anything less than that 1000mAh, then you shoulgld immediately know that you have a slow phone charger. But if you see 5V----2A or in this format 5V----2000mA or more, then you have a fast phone charger.

if you didnt spy maths in waec at least you should know how to substitute and make subject formula out of very simple expressions.
for instance; I read engineering, but I will never think the past tense of go is wented. an English or literature student should know better than me. but if I hold a senior secondary school leaving certificate, at least I should know the past tense of go

I did electrical installation for a white man in lekki who read accounting and till this moment it baffles me how much he knew about my field. thats what basic education does when its effective.

Fast enough for blackberry bold or z series. Also fast enough for Nokia symbian phones. Very slow for flagship android phones like lg g3, g4, Samsung galaxy s5, s6, galaxy note, etc.

The quality of a usb cable is easily know from its thickness. This is because thick usb cable has the tendency to allow the flow of large currents without giving up. When u make use of slim cables it'll take a longer time to charge ur device and if the current is much the cable will burn and possibly bridge but it shouldn't be a problem to ur phone since there is a blocking diode.

Please don't go about saying that when you charge a 4000mah battery with a 5v 2A it will take 2 hours....Nwanne thats fallacious because just as you know life is not fair so also is the efficiency of the transformer converting the AC to DC not 100%. It should be around 80% so applying that factor charge time should be around 2hrs 20-35mins depending on cpu usage.

There are quality USB cables on the market, even better than the Nokia USB cable. The problem is, HOW MUCH ARE U WILLING TO PAY FOR A USV CABLE? I bought my Samsung travel charger for N3,500, rated at 5.3V--2.0A. Some people will call me crazy but that charger is damn fast, the only charger that can charge my LG G3 within 45 mins. Other chargers (apart from follow come) will charge for 2 hours and still don't get to 100%.

charger x will take approximately 4hours while charger y takes approximately 2hours to fully charge your 4000mAh battery.

I tell U, to me that's the most determining factor, I had this follow come tecno USB cord that came with my pad, that cord is the bomb, it charges my pad along side it charger in less than an hour to full capacity, even my bold 5 that takes me over 3 hours to get full charge with my bb charger can be charged in less than an hour also and I noticed my bold 5 retains It's charge longer with my tecno charger, It's unfortunate I can't seem to find it to replace after it became bad.
I use a Samsung Galaxy S4 USB cord but the tecno usb cord was way faster than it and also the thickness of a cord too don't determine how fast a charger would be cos I noticed tecno usb cords comes in slimmer fashion and are arguably the fasted cord U can get.

If your battery capacity is below 2500mah, kindly stay away from a 2.1A rated charger. It will charge your battery faster truly buy your lowly rated battery will not be able to sustain the charge gained for a longer duration like it would if you used a 1.0A which is meant for phones with 1000mah - 2000mah battery capacities.


If your battery is rated above 2500mah never use a 1000mah charger at anytime, even when you visit your friend and quickly want to take advantage of power since there's shortage in your area. Be wise to know that it will lead to increase wear of rating of the battery and thus make it swell in some situation while at other time the battery can loose power totally and will need to be replaced for you to be able to use your phone again.

if only u read d full details u might appreciate it better, dat is why d source link is dier 4 all who wants to digest d info. For sure, it is not advisable to go using high current to fast charge a very low capacity batteries. But d ratings given above is a general one and most phones these days fall within d category where charging with does ratings won't be harmful to d batteries. again let me tell u, a friends original phone charger which was a fast charger got damaged, he went and replaced it wit slow and lower ratings charger without knowing. If only he even read dis post, he might have don better in d replacement
