To be frank, what I had in mind was tyres but I had no where to get them cos the ones we had, we threw them away few weeks before I conceived this idea

Check with vulcanisers in your area.

if I am right...these species cannot grow into the real deal snails sold in the market for 6 to 7 for 2500naira. these are just egile, the type measured with a bowl full for 100naira or less.

my point is hope u know this and pls talk bout the lucrative side of this?

yeah. They're called njala in my local dialect. I'm surprised to hear they grow to be big. We learn everyday.

I plan on expanding so a tyre would be absolutely inappropriate. THanks though

I find snails gross, but also scary. It brings me back memories of walking down the street, and accidently stepping on one at night, all I heard was "crunch!". It also reminds of one of the gardens in my old school I went to when I was younger that was infested in them, and the giant slugs that used to come out when it would rain when I was at my aunts old house, in her front garden I would have to dodge them when leaving at night. Oh, god. It was horrible. There's something scary, almost supernatural, and extraterrestrial-looking about them, and the way the slime around. I have a handful of childhood memories of my bad experience with them as you can see. I'm from the UK, and as it rains quite a bit, they come out quite a lot. A lot of people in the UK don't like snails, and view them as pests as they sometimes ruin their garden flowers. We've had to put poisoners down in the past. And I'm assuming you're in Nigeria, and some of those are African snails, 'cause some of those snails are the biggest I've ever seen!

Please do and pawpaw leaves is not sufficient for them. Cucumber, watermelon, vegetable (ugu) leaves are some of the food you can give to them.

My "boys" in their new home. I gave them ugu leaves, pawpaw leaves, pawpaw and water leaves yesterday to eat. On coming back this morning, I realized that they finished everything except the water leaves. Seems like they don't like it that much
I'm starting mine soon
