If you fail to answer it only means you agree you are a liar, if you answer with insults instead of facts, you are indirectly agreeing you lied. Let's do this please. Waiting. |

bushdoc9919:GEJ's govt had a lot o' flaws, but I give him the credit o' restoring other areas o' revenue generation asides oil. Agriculture waS at its peak, the ban on furniture and textile was doing a great job to resuscitate these industries home based. GEJ did a great job and if corruption and bokoharam were to be excluded, he was a perfect president. Mho 5 Likes |

If to say I see you now ehn as at the time I'm reading this your comment.. Aswear... I for test my AK_47 for ya body. Have you ever moved into an old/ dilapidated building before? YES you intend to renovate and make it come alive again.. Even though your intention is to do that.. Can you do it in one day? How much more a whole country.. With its economic, security, educational, power facilities all in state gross decay. PDP mismanaged this country and her economy for 16 whole years. They brought everything to a standstill...the new government inherited an empty treasury and loads of debts to be paid including unpaid staff salary in almost all the states of federation. This new government is just a few weeks old and some idi0ts are already crying foul. Is it that you guys were asleep when ur ogogoro master was playing table tennis with our economy? Is it that easy to rebiuld what has been destroyed for so much years? Most of the Tanoids commenting here...the thunder wey go fire una na 2016 model and he still dey do press up for heaven. maxwell530: |

Johnsinia:Lies? What lies? Was it a lie that under him price of crude oil in the world market increased but we had the foreign reserve almost eroded? Was it a lie that despite the huge gain will make from the crude oil when we had bench mark rated pegged at circa $80, we were not able to use the extra accrual for anything tangible? Was it a lie that the subsidy money jumped up drastically ( unexplainably)? Was it a lie that under him Nigeria had more jets in the private fleet? Was it a lie that money developed legs and walked off the coffer and nothing was done until few weeks to election? Was it a lie that the whistle blower got fired instead of praised? Was it a lie that under him thieves were rewarded instead of prosecuted? What's your definition of lie? 1 Like |

bushdoc9919: Shut up, in the history of Nigeria democracy, it was during Gej administration that experienced more concern for agriculture (massive capital input and cogent policies). Let's not forget about industrialization,( auto mobil policies and so on) GEJ was the president for 5yrs, and 5yrs Is not enuf to divert from oil, if it were, OBJ should ve done it during his 8yrz. I am not in any way supporting GEJ, but if anyone deserves to be blamed, let him or her collect d blame. PMB, did not understand that democracy rule is different from military rule . As such he tot that he as a presido ha d final say. For getting that there is wat we call due process, Democracy is a game of number, it will be most difficult to achieve many things in this very corrupt country, GEJ did not start corruption( his admin is still one of the most corrut in democracy rule). My point I that u should not blame mr A for mr B woes. 2 Likes |

Do you have an idea how much resources this country lost under GEJ? How much was the dollar to the Naira before GEJ, how much was it when he left? How much was our external reserve before GEJ and how much was it when he left? How many states were been owed salary before GEJ and how many states were owing as at his exit from office. The $20b dollars that grew wings and flew away... What did your GEJ do about it before he left even after Sanusi gave fact and figures and even pointed fingers to the robber that robbed the nation. In the history of Nigeria.. Which president ever "purchased arms" with someone else's private jet and sidelining the military in the entire process. Which president in the entire world... Openly romances and awards ex convicts that cheated and looted the state. Which president in the entire world ever came out publicly and declare that stealing isn't corruption? Oga... I advice you to only come here and yan ur opatar and go jeje.. If you go outside and spit this n0nsense... You're risking been beaten black and blue or even stoned. A word is enough for the wise oh Pelmet: 2 Likes |

DankemzI: GEJ is d worst thing dat ever happened to dis country. Do I need to mention d unhealthy permissiveness dat was so rife in his administration. Wot did he do to utilise d massive human resources we av. I dnt even need to dwell on d issue of oil cabals. Hope u haven't forgotten d issue of security so soon, I knw u can figure dat out. Education nko, strikes on all fronts coupled wit unfavourable conditions for our dear teachers & lecturers; wot became of d sector under his administration? Why not take a look @d level of impunity never seen nor heard of, it was clear he was only a figure-head...so sad! 'known to all dat he wasn't in total control however well he might av wished dis country. PMB is only 2months into his administration & u r expecting some abracadabra...abeg park well ! Talk of scam, GEJ & his crew scammed us all & mind u there's more revelations coming so sit back & get some popcorn for da movie ok. 1 Like |

Brownhypo:the most annoying thing is no matter the number of deaths or victims . Grandpa just keeps quiet and says nothing as if nothing happened. One person was. Killed in france and the president left the eu summit and rushed home. Each time there is a shooting in the usa ,obama always makes a statement condemning the act and telling the american ppl to be on guard. But in grandpa case ,anytime he hears 42 or 97 ppl killed by boko haram , he just nods his head and continue playing hide and seek with his cows . Naija is in real deep shit . Next time ppl will open their brains and eyes before voting 3 Likes 1 Share |

ikkkkk: "The truth of the matter is that Nigerians are gullible and to a very large extent unfortunately ignorant about the operations of an economy. what was the level of inflation when the Finance Minister came in, and what is the level of inflation when she is leaving? What was the level of consumption spending when the Finance Minister came in, and what is the level of consumption spending when she left? What is the level of capital accumulation in terms of fiscal discipline, directing more resources towards capital formation and infrastructure? Did consumption expenditure (recurrent expenditure) continue to exceed capital expenditure such that recurrent expenditure constantly edged around 70 percent while capital expenditure was 30 percent? You cannot cover failure forever. No economy can also succeed, especially with a population like ours, when the ratio between recurrent and capital expenditure has even risen from 70:30 the last time she was there to a recurrent of over 90 percent now. Is that not alarming? There is the issue about those indices I mentioned initially with inflation at eight percent running to 10 per cent and cost of funds to the real sector at over 20 per cent. The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy was asked a question by a ThisDay Newspaper reporter at an interview less than two years ago that “madam, why is it that the cost of funds is well over 20 per cent? And the Minister of Finance, this so-called exalted personality in the area of economics management said, “ In fact that has been bothering me, I don’t really know, it is something that I must discuss with the banks.” If she did not know after she had been there for a long time, is it the question by the reporter that has now prompted her interest, When she knows that no economy can thrive or succeed when cost of funds to the real sector is over 20 per cent? . . . " And that's just 20% of the story http://thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2015/05/19/okonjo-iweala-a-failure-henry-boyo/ |
