Someone just came into power, met a very disturbing security challenges on ground and the next thing you did was ordered the removal of military checkpoints!!!! Am tempted to assume many things about that directive.... 3 Likes |

seriously, thats the best thing to move forward but seems the old self acclaimed opportunist leaders don't want it that way cos of their personal vast connections and interests across the land, that's why u will hear them saying on unity we stand. pBuhari: 2 Likes |

The best solution to all these blood shed is to Divide the country. Give boko haram the territory they desire, give the south-east the country they desire. That means 4 countries will be carved out of Nigeria. Biafra republic, hausa republic, yoruba republic and boko haram bloody republic. Indeed, government is not ominipresent. Only God is! |

Vveni: Checkpoints don't necessarily stop bombs...especially non-car bombs. Especially in this era of home made bombs. Note that the bombers are not using car bombs....they are using walking human bombs. Which are not easy to detect. |

At this rate of daily bombing the number of dead in a month will exceed the total number that died during GEJ tenure. Sai change 1 Like |

From our forensic incendiary profile based on past records, the next city on the path of BH is Abuja.... Unless we have our agencies on the alert this should mushroom into something much more ambitious and far reaching like LAGOS.Nigerians especially those in the FCT are pls advised to stay away From markets, mosques or any crowded areas until the city has had its fair allotment of suicide bombings in the comin few days...... Dullardo has lost the plot therefore tis all man for himself 1 Like |

Christianwalase: It won't solve the problem....Boko will just continue...and meanwhile....we have other violent groups around. Plus...you Nigerians will begin fighting for oil and land. I know you people.....ALL of you Nigerians are alike. You love oil money too much. You will not go home and develop. And who told you the split will end at four countries? |

I remember our poor National football team skipper, Vincent Enyeama asking innocently if Kaduna was safe enough (both for players and fans) for an international match. NFF rewarded him with query and a planned public beheading which he refused to attend. With this recent occurrence if we have any shame what so ever, we need to send him and unreserved apology. The worst thing is that we are about to lose the services of arguably Nigeria's best keeper all time over a stupid moot argument. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Imanuelle:What has military check points got to do with women bearing bombs in hijab? Will their religion allow them to search everybody properly? Or were there fewer attacks when the soldiers were manning the street? Yes, military should remain in restive areas not in more civil areas in the South like Agbor, in Delta state that Governor Okowa have planted since 4 years or more. Military have no place in civilian community at all. Read up the Jos case were they beat up a man at the ATM for not giving them his own money. |

Temidayo9: First...bombs can be hidden under kaftan, even Western clothing. HAMAS suicide bombers dressed in western style when going to bomb in israel years ago , for example. Ban on hijab won't help much. |

[quote author=themosthigh post=35585185]Chai[size=14pt] Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is not benovolent Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? Stupid quote. Can Obama stop book haram. If yes then why hasn't he. God does not intrude into territories he leased out Ok. God leased the earth to man for a period. Man handed it over to the devil, but the lease will soon be over, and u can have a perfect earth again. You want God to do something, invite Him properly |

jck1976:Thanks very much brother. This is the most concise answer I've ever seen of the fundamental questions begging for answers. Others, rather than answer it critically, appeal to threats and cajoling like man has no right to question the ills in the world he finds himself. Thanks once again. |
