lol grin grin grin grin... I wonder how much is d salary of dis new peeps oooo... even if deir take home is up to 200k dey wud still end up spending more than 45% of deir salary on house rent annually if dey choose to stay on the island.... Even places on the mainland like alaka, surulere, stadium, barracks, ojuelegba, yaba etc dat are somwhat closer to the Victoria Island, houses are expensive dere. well, with time, peeps will understand better sha. grin.... Anyway for u peeps most especially non-lagos residents, houses are expensive in Lagos generally except for some part of d mainland dat are distant from the Island..

hello all I reside in ebute-metta!!! I will say ebute-metta or yaba is a good axis to stay if working on d island .it is relatively closer and less expensive. Also obalende is another good area to the island from obalende to PwC Office is just N100 keke napep which can cut through hold ups easily!!! pls, is the primary location of work stated on the letter whether after the training some pple would be posted to abj or ph, or is it that everybody is working in lagos so as to prepare my mind b4 hand since I stay at abj nw.

I wonder why peeps are discussing renting accommodation before resumption. IMO this should be after 6weeks in PwC. Reason? You dunno the unit you'll be. Dont be surprised some of you must have rented a place on the island and by end August you are posted to CIPS in assurance.... These guys are mostly on client site mostly located on the mainland around ikeja/ilupeju. How about those that will be posted to Energy and your first engagement/job takes you to Rivers for 2months....thats 2 months rent wasted.

I know of a guy who came from Abuja and 2 weeks after his posting he got his first engagement to Abuja. Came back after 5 months spent to weeks and back to abuja. I've not set my eyes on him since then. Imagine if he had rented a place on the island (in which he was desperate about it then).

I'll advice you guys just chill, stay with family or friends you got in Lagos for a while. It won't kill you... Most people had at some time come from long distances to PwC and some still do it...
