discusant: Chief stop spewing lies that you heard from your Grandfathers. Awolowo wasn't the one that said Igbo's with money in the account will get 20pds. It was a federal government decision because most of the igbos that had money in the n=bank had no evidence to show they had money. C'mon are you saying they should just have given money to anybody that makes the claim? The same Awolowo your elders have poisoned your mind against was the one that set up a policy in SW to ensure that all Igbos property; land, shops and houses that they left behind before the was were returned to them after the war. Ojukwu's father had property majorly at Apapa, they were all returned to the family after the war. But your elders will not tell you all these good gestures, they wont tell you how Yorubas organized and supported their ibo neighbours after the war. Sincerely Ibos need to know that kind gesture deserve appreciation just has bad gesture deserve castigation. 4 Likes |

The former head of state, however, lauded Ojukwu for his courage in defending his people during the war, saying: “if Ojukwu were in my shoes, he would have equally waged the war" And, sir, if you were in Ojukwu's shoes, I bet you, you would have seceded. 3 Likes |

basbone: I couldn't have been more apt. At his graveside he is now trying to purge his conscience of his misdeeds. The blood of those defenceless millions he killed will hunt and haunt him to his grave and in his next life. Nemesis is already playing out in his lifetime with the brutal Fulani herdsmen killing his people with reckless abandon. He will go down to his grave with knowledge and shame that the people he fought alongside to kill the Igbo's will eventually and someday genocidically clean out his people. Nemesis....a biatch. As for the presidency, he can go stuff it up his old hairy azz. What we have ever wanted is to be allowed to go our own way. That is not asking for too much. The rest of this entity can continue to entertain bombings from their kith and kin from the North. 1 Like |

Brytawon: If oil is already failing your nation, why all the blackmail by people like you against realizing Biafra? Was all parts of Nigeria decreed by God to remain one country forever? Why do some Nigerians still resist that Igbo leave Nigeria? Go preach your deceptive sermon to your people with little brain. |

papparatzzi2013: All those are part of pragmatism instead of daylight robberies at apongbon and thirdland bridge. Claiming omo onile and struggling to park cars and extort money from people. For your information, I have a few fairly literate ones among them working for me. I mean your people. I am Igbo. 1 Like |

Inasmuch as this is a faceless forum, you have no right to insult me cos I don't know you anywhere neither do you know me. Nigeria will continue to be together till the end of this world. DEAL WITH THAT! |

Intrepid01: nobody has to read more of anything to know facts abt d war. There is ntin hidden abt it. Gowon was d one who declared war not Ojukwu unless u ar tryin to imply dat Ojukwu's announcement of Biafra's secession means declaring war. |

Sure God will Judge d Old Hag... Old man, go and celebrate the shameful deeds you've done in ur youth. God will judge you!!! And if what you said is right.........then you would know that seccession cannot never lead to war except under a tyrant ruler. And you very well know that the eastern government were not even prepared for any war. The decision to secceed was born out of a distress call by people humiliated and killed. You Gowon knew that there is no way the eastern govt can wage war and win because they did not secceed with any nigerian armoury nor did they acquire foreign armoury against any eventualities. You gowon knew that the easterners believed in live and lets live. So you, as the young tyrant ruler, saw the opportunity to crush them in ur pompous attitude by initiating your 'police action'. God will certainly judge you, Old man.[/quote] 1 Like |
