Nigeria will face Ghana, Egypt and Senegal in Group B of the preliminary round of the 2015 All African Games football event billed for Congo Brazzaville.

The draw ceremony took place Thursday morning at the Caf headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. General Secretary of Caf Hicham El Amrani was in charge of the draw and was assisted by Tarig Atta, Deputy General Secretary of the Sudan Football Association.

Hosts Congo were zoned in Group A against Sudan, Zimbabwe and Burkina Faso.

Nigeria’s Dream Team VI were landed in a veritable 'Group of Death' where they will be facing two-time champions Egypt, rivals Ghana and Senegal in Group B.

The football event of the quadrennial African multisport event will hold between September 3-18 2015. Nigeria’s only triumph came on home soil in 1973 in Lagos.

Seriously, they lack that touch of finesse we have seen our U23 players have shown in time past..
But as it stands, I always find myself coming back to sit in front of my TV even if the team is lacklustre..

This reminds me of Nigeria paired alongside Argentina, Sweden and England in the group of death in the 2002 world cup..
