It won't affect it. If you are asked about accommodation you should tell the VO the truth-that you have applied and you are waiting to hear back from Studentenwerk. number13: |

igwejay: 226 was used. The rate fluctuate though. And the banks, at times, add little something on top of the cbn rate but I have never seen any of them going below it. 1 Like |

number13: Tell them exactly what you have done. No need to paint any rosy picture. You have not heard back from the studentwerk period. You can also say you are planning to contact some Nigerian students around your school. It's not that a big deal. All of them know accommodation is an issue. They just want to know that you are making effort. |

Thanks a lot for your reply. What I am still not sure about is that the embassy listed only WAEC as part of the documents to present for Visa Processing but I only have a NECO resulta. Is it acceptable? Peeps, kindly shed more light to clarify this. Thanks a lot. uchezdedon: |

Good morning Gurus in the house. I've been reading as much as I can (skipping a few pages) I just have to ask 1 . when go for visa interview, won't you submit your international passport? (I read in a previous page that you come with your passport on receiving a confirmation email for visa collection) 2. Do you prepare health insurance to a German insurance company or any random one in Nigeria eg Niger Insurance? 3. What if getting the authentic admission letter takes a long time, can you use an email print out confirming that your application is being processed? 4. Certification from a high court; do you receive a stamp on your documents or they just print something out for you to attach? |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by uchezdedon(m): 10:42am On Jul 11, 2015 |
OlaoChi: 1) U will submit ur passport but it will be given back 2 u after ur interview same. 2) I think most pple prefer using IGI insurance. Seems its preferable ( though I don't know much on this) 3)The question here is not too clear, do u mean when booking for appointment or packaging documents for visa application? Well for booking an appointment u can use ur email printout(it can be a notification from uni-assist dat ur documents is been processed or a soft copy of ur admission letter wch u have to print out in a hard copy). But for visa packaging u must present ur admission letter. 4)Certifying ur documents means that ur documents must be properly endorsed (stamped) by the High court. |

Eke40seven: Wit a statement like that from the interviewer, I see a bright future for you @ bold, this means one can apply for visa without first funding the blocked account. I never knew this, I thought you have to fund the account with the said 8000€ before visa interview |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by OlaoChi: 11:01am On Jul 11, 2015 |
uchezdedon: Ok thanks, I will compare Niger Insurance with IGI and pick the preferable one What if after booking an appointment with just a confirmation that your documents is being processed, you end up not receiving admission letter by the date of your visa application? |
