If d police had taken d girl to a right health institution considering the situation involved, she would have been seen by d mental health specialists who would have paid more attention to any suicidal attempt by d rape victim. We as a society have to rightly address issues on the perception of sex and sexuality. She judged and condemned herself based on a wrong perception of sexuality. Instead of her mom to give her postinor and start treatments for infections while pursuing justice for the culprits, she was busy condemning the poor girl and further complicating her twisted perception of sex. Sex education has become more important today than ever. Sex is not criminal and you are not defiled by sex, its as natural as every other characteristic of a living thing and the desire for sex is innate, however practise safe and hygenic sex for your own good, just like eating nutritious meals for your own good. Religion has twisted the beauty of sexuality and attached laws and condemnation to it. She killed herself for no reason at all.

Yes...How could you use harsh words on a person who was traumatised? She could have comforted her daughter with some healing words... Likely, she wouldn't have committed suicide. Perhaps, her mother's harsh words killed her last hope. I believe the mother facilitated her death, although UNITENTIOANALLY and IGNORANTLY!

Sincerely and I speak as a woman, her mother is to blame for the girls death, at that point all that child needed was a shoulder to cry on and loving arms to embrace her and tell her "all will be well". Rest in peace to the dead although taking her life was equally a sin.
