They can't share brush, but they can kiss and exchange and swallow each other's saliva, right?

Go to bed.

It's simply stupidity as far as I am concern. How much b brush? So all the yamayama thrash for their mouth go b sharing things? Kissing is not d same thing as sharing toothbrush. For those that disagrees, can u open ur mouth wide open for ur wife to pour spit or mucus into ur mouth just because una dey kiss?

f√ck!!
Kissing is not the same thing as sharing toothbrushes...
When you brush , bacteria sticks around the brush no matter hiw you wash...
Now when you kiss you are 90% bacteria free...
Hope you get?

The bacteria that sticks around the brush, where does it come from? The eyes?

mainly from the tongue and cavities..
When you brush the bacteria in your mouth is reduced to 8.4% and with bacteria so low in your mou, your mouth cant smell do to say..
Now if you use a brush there are bacteria's still stuck there.. If your partner uses that same brush to brush there is a 94% possibility that bacteria will be transmitted.. And this leads to sores gum rot and swelling...
Medically ut is very unhygienic to share a toothbrush..
Good night

Reasons. Sponge isn't a difficult decision for many to make. But sharing a toothbrush doesn't appeal to very many folks no matter the closeness. Frankly, I see nothing particularly bad about it. The truth is that many of you screaming "no" did share a toothbrush with a sibling(s) while growing up because of obvious financial strain. Yes toothbrush looks cheap today simply because your financial state has improved.

You can at times be constrained to share it with even a stranger. But I know liars would deny this. Is it healthy? No. Have you been circumstantially forced to share it? For many, it is yes. So why can't you share a toothbrush with your spouse?

Hypocritical men who sleep with their wives every night but won't share the same bathroom with them!

Where is the tongue located? In the eyes or in the mouth? What kind of kiss doesn't involve tongue, especially the french kiss? Does the bacteria on the tongue disappear before kissing, and reappear after? E be like say you be learner.

Keep deceiving yourself.

when you brush the bacterial accumulations in your tongue including the tongue reduces to a paltry 8.4% and with such less Number bacteria cannot be passed....

Very soon, you'll tell me that you brush your mouth before kissing, to avoid all the "bacteria accumulations" in both your mouths. . .

Yeye dey smell.

No mind these people. . . Too many sanctimonious fake asses on Nairaland.

They'll kiss and have sex first thing in the morning before brushing, exchange and swallow all available bacteria, but cringe when they hear of toothbrush sharing.

Another information for you hypocrites. . . There is more bacteria in your mouth at any given time, than on your toilet seat. . . What this means is that it's way SAFER for you to KISS your toilet seat, than your gf/bf.

If you go with this jejune assumption, you're simply saying that bacteria never accumulates in your mouth after you have finished brushing by 8:am? And you're also saying you only kiss at 8:am, when you have "reduced" bacteria in your mouth?
