Hello, boss! In the previous work section of DS160 form, what did he fill? If he has already filled something there; then, there is no need for him/her to bother himself/herself. I didn't fill anything related to the work I did during my youth service, when I filled mine. He/she should focus on preparing for his interview. Advise him/her to read interview transcripts.

Thanks sir . God will never leave u for once

CBN piling up restrictions on naira dominated master card, cry grin fidelity bank advising me to get a dollar platinum card?! Please I have read the bank/card discussions here but a failing naira is not helping matters, a wired transfer costing 248 per dollar already grin, some once talked about buying money order from a departmental store such as kroger or walmart and go and pay it into the account, but now that CBN tails are at alert
I think its would be better for those in nigeria to weigh several options before leaving......

What re d gud options, pls advice?
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 7 by mbeenox: 4:04pm On Jul 12, 2015
What's the best option for someone about to leave Naija with this new CBN policy in effect, I thought of opening a couple of accounts for different banks in my sibling names n carry their cards along so as to Avoid the withdrawal limit on a single person tracked by the BVN

Please any advice

a dual currency mastercard is the solution, thats what I recently applied for if and only if you would still be sent money from nigeria, swiping in overseas POS have been tightened and daily limit have been reduced from 150k to 50k in dollars/annum 300 per day undecided buh if u have folks in the states transfer every possible funds u would need through a domiciliary account to ur folks in the states

Apply for what? U mean PHd. I intend transferrring to a better school after my first semester to a highly ranked school.

Transferring might not be that easy at this stage compared to undergraduate and most often, because the curriculum differs a bit from school to school, it might be very challenging. What I actually meant was applying to PhD if that is your ultimate goal.

Have you taken your time to digest the policy or you just took the headline. This was exactly the issue of BVN. You'll still be able to use your card here with the limits.

Great post earlier on about surviving in the states without a lil funding, am inspired and also scared, Amelika no easy undecided buh you guys should help Us settle well

why are you over flogging this issue. Like I told you earlier have you taken time to read the new policy while you create unnecessary tension? Have you seek clarification on the new policy? The last message I got from Gtbank

Get someone that has fidelity bank account go with your international passport to buy BTA it's way cheaper that way. You get 199.50 or 200 per $. You will save a lot

Their curriculum are the same. At least the other school would give me a good offer, that I am gauranteed. PhD comes later. My score lasts for 5 years. Thanks boss!

Why don't you check the school admission requirement for international students!.
Most schools require the test score to be sent directly from ETS. Well, if you've done those tests before why don't you send an additional report to the school..
Your lecturers need to send recommendation letters to the school on your behalf and you still need to write a statement of purpose to the school..
You can't just expect an admission without all these..BTW, what is d name of the school?

Likewise the Recommendation letters from your lecturers & SOP even before sending your statement of account...you should have read everything and understand how its done na.. Your homework never complete bro!.

Thanks a lot bro. But for Spring 2016 admission, when can I start sending all these to the school? Can I start from now for the spring 2016 next year admission?
Also, all these documents (recommendations from my profs, transcripts, certificate, gre,TOEFL, etc) will all arrive the schools at different days and dates, does it not mean? Or must all those documents gets to the school all at the same time?thanks

Bro please check out their graduate admission page and you will see everything there, from the school/departmental application requirements, application procedure and application dates(starting date (not always) - deadline) for international students...even when to expect their admission decision. You have a lot to do bro (especially if you are a tyro in this aspect), check out other schools according to your interest. As for the documents, just create your application account with them and send any document that is ready (although they will give you guideline on how to do everything).

PLEASE try to carry out some simple tasks OYO before someone will use some painful words on you. Hope I don't sound disrespectful (and I never meant to).

Hope it helps! smiley
