So we plenty!! Edwife damiso kimoni aaah.
Funnily enough I've moved on from fictional series to more factual documentaries cos at least I know some kinda justice was done. Interestingly enough I don't find factual ones creepy. Its the fictional ones that can get a bit creepy jor (they try too hard). Like criminal minds was hard to watch for me if not for the eye candy there hehe I for dump am tey tey.

Murder she wrote poirot those were my goto dramas in my teens oh coupled with the law firm based series.

grin grin These men had better be scared!! grin

grin grin

Jokes apart though, CI is one intriguing and interesting way to look at the human mind . Don't watch it as much as these days get more of my crime and investigation 'fixes' from fictional series. All those real life ones were getting a lil creepy cos it brings it closer to home on what human beings are truly capable of.

It is a beautiful game and more strenuous than football. I should teach you how the score is counted if you are interested.

Tennis is one of my many favourite sports...

Looking forward to Novak and Federer play tomorrow.

Murray... Overhyped player.... He was taught a lesson in tennis by the king of the game on Friday... grin

For a start, the score is counted like this..

0-0 is called Love - Love.

The counting is in this order...

15, 30, 40 and Game.

At 40-40, it is deuce. On deuce, the counting is Advantage and game (two match points)

The male play for best of five sets while the female play for best of three sets.

One set has at least 6 games (that is why you see final score as 6-4, 6-1, 7-5, etc) depending.

One game is read in the order of my opening explanation.. 15-0, 30-0, 40-0, game (one game)

E.g of I am playing with you, if I win a game, it is 1-0, till probably I have a two game advantage over you at 6-4, of 7-5. If it gets to 6-6 in a set, the score is counted like 1-0,2-0,3-0,4-0 for a best of 7.

At the completion of a full game, like 6-4, that makes a set. Then you start to play for another set.

The final is tomorrow between Federer and Novak by 2pm. Watch it and follow through with my explanation, you will understand fully.

Lastly, when serving, you serve across court and must fall in the small quadrant box of your opponent across you.

For singles, you play only inside the drawn line, if it falls in the second line, it is out. The second long line on the court is for doubles.

I do have a lot of floor space to work with. I can register with a gym if necessary we have a few in my estate.

Equipment - hmmm apart from a mat, stretch bands and small weights 1-2kg
You work form home se? Well you can workout from home as well - gym is only really required if 1. You don't have a convenient space at home or 2. you want to do classes.

Having said that, as much as I used to despise conventional gyms and classes - I've since repented. The right class and the right instructors can work wonders. Some classes also have a real good vibe from the attendees, which can motivate and push.

Assuming you have no serious medical problems or injuries, I would suggest 3 sessions a week to begin. If you do use a gym, think about classes like "body pump", which use weights, along with body weight and will also keep you working at a fairly high pace.

Then we should think about a routine you can port between home space and a gym studio. I think the weights you currently have are on the small side for some of the things I have in mind.

I'm not that conversant with stretch bands, so I don't know if there is anyway we can use these to replicate the effect of slightly heavier weights. We could use compound moves using body weight only as a compromise.

What are you thoughts re plans to tweak your diet?

There's something just wholesome about the movie. No cheesy hollywood romance or anything like that. I've not seen a mature movie like that in a while. I'd had it on my laptop for a while, but paid it no mind till someone told me it had been written or directed by the person who did "Inception". Couldn't get home fast enough and I wasn't disappointed.

'They' were the humans ofthe future. They created a five-dimensional lattice of thought to help the astronaut convey his message to his daughter in the past so as to save the human race.

Time travel can be so confusing.

Nope.....a continuum loop has challenges

If the humans are saved....then there is no crises which led to the humans exploring space which led to the time teaser act

Not if the humans were those in the other galaxy, planet Edmund. They would have thought thier mother planet earth was destroyed in the past and tried to find a way to save them.

Gulp! What size weights were you ermmm thinking of shocked abeg make e no pass 5kg.

My diet
So I'm increasing eggs and fish/seafood intake. Beef though I find minced meat easier to chew.
For the fats, can adding more icecream (with more cream than sugar ) suffice. Then cheese and I suppose more milk. Any other ideas.
So I googled burpees, squat thrusts and star jumps. What do you mean by HIIT?
So if you're thinking 3 sessions per week then how long would the sessions.

He is overhype because the Brits always try too hard to put him in the class of FedEx, Nadal and Djoker. He is not in their class nor anywhere near. One thing I like about his game is that he can pick service well.

I hope he wins up to 4-5 GS before he drops the racket.

Planet Edmond was peopled by brands daughter and the 400 fertilized cells

What I'm saying is that saving humanity negates the space journey

The impending destruction of humans is what led to the ranger journey

How can he not be? He has been a finalist of how many grand slams? Beaten each at one time or the other to win a slam or send them out of a tourney and has ranked above each at a point too. I swear your badu belle is alive and well grin

Not bad belle.. When Murray never won the GS, he was strictly referred to as a Scot. After the slam, he became a Brit...

If we go by your analysis, he still cannot be put in the same category as those three guys, we should even leave out Fedex (he is the emperor who refuses to surrender cheesy). How many finals has he made compared to the top three guys? Ranked above one of them at a point for a short time, David Ferrer too once ranked above Nadal. Juan Martin Del Potro has beaten Federer in the final before, do we put him in his league?

Federer at his age still outclassed him in semi-final. Murray is not in their league at all. I can group him with Wawrinka, Ferrer and Tsonga..

Morning,

No fear - 5k should do it, no less than 4 sha 0!

Good work on the diet. More ice-cream? That wasn't what I had in mind - ice creams should be an occassional treat. Think milk, eggs and cheese - as you've mentioned - but even better, more good fats from things like salmon, avocadoes etc. - check out you ur omega 3's & 6's

High Intensity Interval Training. The Idea is to work at a high intensity for longer - burns more, more quicjkly and for a while after. Three sessions p/w should take about 30 mins (with extra for warming up & stretching).

You should get a feel from this and build it uo if it's not tasking you enough. We will then increase as your body adapts - by either increasing the weights, reps, adding exercises, creating new routines or varying the routine.

Don't worry if you can't acquire the weights straight away - I'll be really impressed if you can procure kettlebells - as we can start with what you have, or even just body weight. In fact, it may be best to calibrate first - who knows, you may need like 10kgs grin!

I think it's time to put something together - so I'l post something hopefully later today, but no later than this time tomorrow.

Final questions;

Do you have slots in mind? It would be best to spread them as evenly as possible
Do you have an exercise mat
Do you have a skipping rope

Don't forget to take readings before you start and then at the same time every week thereafter. Do no fuss over weight loss or individual readings - and think about a long-term goal.

I have to go with NaijaBabe here. Murray is not overhyped. Nobody is placing him up with Fed, Novak or Rafa - indeed, few male players of any era could compete with those 3 in their pomp. And Fed is arguably the best ever.

Having said that, Murray is at worst par with Wawrinka in the immediate chasing pack - and Wawrinka joined him there, not the other way around. Murray has won 2 of the 4 GS' and been a fnalist in at least 6. Absent the aforementioned 3 legends of the game - or in most other eras - he would almost certainly have had more success to date.

He is still consistently ranked in the top 5, and has been so for the last 5 years. And, he still has the scope to improve his game. It's hard not to see him racking up more big wins, but even if he doesn't he has done very well and whilst he may not be amongst the greats, he is not overhyped.

Speaking as someone who doesn't like him myself, but objectively? he good. Abi make we go bring the toothless Tiger Tim out of retirement grin! Fine English boi - no huzzle cheesy cheesy!

Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 11:38am On Jul 13, 2015
TV and Naijababe,

I am in no way dismissing Murray's quality and ability, he is a good tennis player. However, the British press is known for blowing his ability out of proportion like they always do for their average football player.

I explained why I said he is overhyped. When they begin to compare him with the King and prince of tennis, is that not taking his luck too far? grin grin grin

I go with Bellong on this one. Murray is overhyped esp in UK, someone whose most loyal fan would dare not place a bet on in a GS final undecided

You and I know he cannot improve his game better than he has done, he has since passed that curve.

Speaking as someone who likes his personality a lot, I am also being very objective tongue

every nation hypes their player

Murray is not even hyped in my opinion so naijababe is right..u should watch the way Marca hypes Real Madrid or the Spainish team

He just has the expectation of the whole country on his shoulders

Same with Tsonga in Roland Garros

He is the top elite group of RF, Nole, Nadal though he is the no 4

Good to see Stanimal putting his head in

Murray got the boost needed when he got Ivan Lendl as coach/.... I wondered what happened though Lendl complained of family commitments
