edwife: It's typically a warm-up starter exercise - if you hold proper form it shoul dwork both to a degre, but not as much as other more specific exercises. TV ***Disclaimer - I am not a qualified trainer, always listen to your instructors *** |

I am sure some spectator didn't come for the game but to feed the lust of their eyes... TV01, All these exercise for one person?... Ko easy.... TV01: Lol,i take as many advices and tips as possible.I only need to see the result,that's all that matter. So it's a warm-up?lol i use 18 kg dumb-bell with both hands and do 30 sets X 3 with 3 min rest in between.I won't deny that it is not working,i see results,i just wanted to make sure. |

edwife:But you are obviously using it for a full workout, which is fine as it works the whole body. Should work and trim everything with that many sets and repititions - do you use a dumbell or kettlebell? Must say, I'm impressed - 18 KG even if it's double handed. I've used 24kg before, but I prefer to stick to 16kg, although I do it single handed, as opposed to double. For the most part I use 12kg - I was using 7kg for years till my gym buddies dissed me ! Complex routines make the workout sessions seem tedious and they take time, too much time. What happened to just going as heavy as possible on the basics : squats, barbell presses, curls. None of that fancy stuff, lunges? That one na for celebrity bloggers |

@edwife, 30 sets X 3, with 3 minutes rest between sets?! That's easily 100 - 120 minutes on one workout alone!! Is this cardio? |

salsera:buy a proper skipping rope, not one of the cloth/fabric ones, a leather or nylon(speed) rope will do. You can also buy one with weighted handles if possible. |
