After painstaking efforts and hours sleepless night, I finally figured oit that this tab can be rooted successfully with Kongo root. The IMEI can also be tweaked using China miracle SPD IMEI tool. Thank me later. SUCCESS!

Same with mine. It wasn't showing the MTK engineering side. Only android side.

I tire ooo!!! Can't sleep until I get this phone tweaked... Dat ws my aim... I fink dat will change now... After every effort proves abortive. Fone went dead for two fk days, tot I lost it... Users, anyway itz a gud fone fr d price, great performance... Oh! Lest I frgt, d rooting z surface as it poses some restrictions at first with the kingoroot super SU replacement... Guyz, wen u tweak d imei, lemme kno!!

Today, i will post the pros and cons of this tab. but before i do that, i dont have any intention of spoiling sales for any seller. i just want to warn unsuspecting Nigerians from getting this tab. so i wont be recommending any phone or tab to anyone. thanks,

instead it will be discharging and once it goes off, you wont be able to power it on again. should they power it on for you, it will still do the same thing sometime in the future. so sorry bro

note, this is a user experience. bought this phone April this year so i have solid proofs for all i am about to type
i am sorry, but i had to do this for my unsuspecting brothers and sis, think twice before getting this tab. let us all say no to substandard products. i will post the pros and cons of this tab here

pros.. low price for a tab, 8 gb internal considering the price, 1gb ram, quad core processor, ARM processor which is an Upgrade on the phones developer side, large battery capacity, 3000maH, 7 inches screen..all this are good for the price..

cons... Non Tweakable due to cos its running on ARM unlike MTK, SNAPDRAGON, Qualcomm even INTEL recently, phone unroots anytime and you have to root it again, (kingo root and king root) so you are stucked with kinguser, superSU works atimes but its unstable.
phone reboots atimes and starts reloading android files which may take more than 30 mins.
poor camera quality for a 8MP phone,
after prolong use, phone may start discharging when charger is plugged in
phone may eventually go off and may not come on for over 24hrs.
can you live with this flaws for that price?
