Any account would do just fine, once you have given the bank an authorisation in writing to debit your account for the transactions.

That's so that they can still charge you COT. Don't be surprised another branch offers you a different provision, they are confused and that is not applicable to GTB alone. I went to Zenith some years back for the form A thing. Firstly, the customer care lady knows nothing about it. After brief chat with her colleague online, she was forming Miss CBN until I get her confused again so she could run to her chat box. LOL.
NL is loaded with wealth of information on divers issues, unfortunately, many members are too lazy to read beyond the current page. I remember sharing my experience and offering tips on this transfer thing.

Like I said earlier, GTBank Owerri is clueless with form A, there story being that the Form A guy did it for someone and after almost four weeks it never reflected in the school's account so the guy in charge upstairs (the General Office immediately you get upstairs 3rd table by the left) basically gives you restrictions that would make you look else where. I was not the only one that was turned down anyways I had to get FORM A from another bank yet no show. and you probably want me to recommend him to someone else ?? BIG NO.

Gtb uyo told me current account. Fortunately I have a gtb current account.

Please house I need ur advise on this. University of chester where I applied for my Msc required me to submit my bank statement of account as one the requesting documents for them to give my CAS. I submitted 2 personal bank account statements, one is a pounds account and the other is a naira account, but they told me that there is ''a higher risk of visa refusal'' with the 2 statements that I intend to submit at the embassy. Please is this true?

What was their reason? You can use multiple accounts.
I personally used my pounds dom account and Naira savings account

The university will only be advising you based on what they have experienced with past student visa applications.
You can either listen to them,
Or listen to opinions here.
It's up to you.

There is no explanation giving from them, they just stated it as a likely reason for visa refusal. Although I have red on this platform of people that submitted 2 account statements and were successful. Meanwhile I have sent an e-mail to UK embassy via there website to give me a clarification on that. Hope to update u guys when they respond.

If those two bank statements met the 28days requirement and contained the required amount then you got nothing to worry about.

That is good for university students but bad news for college students. However it does free up more jobs for students and their people. I guess that was one of their reasons for the rule. But uK needs to chill a little. They are becoming something else abeg!

I actually paid for the IHS in June but its requesting that I pay again while applying for the VISA.

I think you need to contact UKBA. The rules changed and now requires the payment of both fees online
