I play pass mikel.......... GIVE ME.... I GIVE KEEPER... KEEPER GIVE ME...I GIVE JOHN TERRY....WHAT ELSE DO MIKEL PLAY?
He can play for Chelsea all he wants but stay off Super eagle. Im tired of seeing No. 10 that has no dribbling skills.
Garba Lawal was far better than mikel.

Take it or leave it, this guy is not playing to his potential. He should refused to remain in the valley of mediocre. ..
He should not be satisfied playing 2nd fiddle, he is supposed to be up there competing with the world bests. ..

Another crap piece.

Football writers are talking, metro uk is talking.

Anyway, I understand the angle that the writer is coming from, but it's total BS.

Mikel does not provide any squad depth to that team. Yes, he offers his services to the team but I believe Mourinho just likes this guy and who knows, his girlfriend connection.

Please read Daily Mail uk football, guardian or bbc football before all these metro and mirror uk dey talk.

Mikel loves bench role especially now that age isn't favorable to him. Sunday oliseh shouldn't allow a bench warmer be our captain.

I am glad Mikel Obi is staying at Chelsea for at least One more year, making him the FIRST black player in the UK to play for one club for 10 years continuously (Rio Fernidand is not exactly fully black).
This will enable Obi to attain legendary status at Chelsea which come with a Testimonial Match, A permanent seat in VIP section at stamford bridge for him and his family, a pension for Life from Chelsea and a place in the Club Hall of Fame.
Well done to Jose Mourinho for helping Mikel Obi to avoid the same deprivation meted on Drogba in 2002.
But why the British are so racist ?

Yet, amassing 339 appearances as one of the team’s most used substitutes, Mikel shows that you don’t need to play 90 minutes to make a difference.
I think this is the history u want him to make. The legend of the substitutes. Am just thinking of what will be of him when Witsel finally land.

What coaches see in Mikel will forever be beyond your understanding..Mikel obi's name will ever remain as a player that helps Chelsea succeed and I wonder who you are to call Mikel an Idiot
