The shiz about Banana Island is that for an overpriced neighbourhood, it still lacks the feel of what's basically an equivalent Million Dollars ($) Nigerian neighbourhood. The road kerb looks faded and other pictures I have of it shows out overgrown lawns and marshy areas.

I still remember vividly my days of working in the hot sun, with C & C Construction Company during the early development of the Island, 2001. An incident with a Payloader cut my right thumb so deeply that it almost fell off. I no work for two weeks o. We molded the paving stones and paved the major roads then. Those days of hustle shall... Greetings to my fellow labourers and colleagues.

Maybe I should have written my name on one of the plots then and claim it by fire by force...

Temporary enjoyment. No point toiling that hard when I know I'll die someday and leave all that behind. A simple, quiet and comfortable life suits me better.

Decent accommodation doesn't have to be only for the super rich.
And housing is something most state governments neglect even though it is a relatively simple aspect to develop.

An ova hyped estate....aparted frm d commercial part of the island,(Which i feel it looks is average)..d rest na mostly bushes and uncompleted buildings
