Someone who claims to be very busy, and who claimed to have left the thread for good still had time to go over it and mention me here. Am glad Ishi too was as baffled as every right thinking person who read the thread from page 1. As for Niklausa, the fact that you assume every nairalander who comments on the romance section to be a child says a lot about you. I wouldn't want to join issues with you, the 'small boy' from romance section, Naijaboiy, has already done that, admirably. And as for you standd, like I said before, the earlier you realise you have issues and work on correcting those issues, the better for you. 8 Likes |

I do not engage in e-brawls and I have never had cause to curse or openly condemn anyone. The only time I made an exception was in politics and it had to do with someone I liked and enjoyed his company on here, before we fell apart based on my political leanings. I took full responsibility for my actions and did not apologize to the mods because I felt deeply maligned. This is not me playing the sanctimonious card on those who feel the best form of catharsis is engaging perceived opponents in verbal duels. As a matter of personal principle, I ask myself..."after insulting him or her, after the tirades, what next? will it make things better? So I look for other means to vent....after which I pray. Then I start asking for strength to truly forgive whoever threw pelts at me.....that's if I feel truly hurt. This is not to excuse myself as someone who never uses hard words on people.... But I try my best not to. By the grace of the Almighty, I have been blessed with the gift of words, words come to me naturally. The choice behoves on me daily, whether I want to Make or Mar with my words. I was on said thread because of Kbninc. I followed him there. KB's my friend off NL, and not just any kind of friend. Lol. So you can imagine how it must have felt just watching her speak to him in the lowest of lows. Yet, I kept my cool. Because of my grammar diary, I followed Larrysun so I could monitor his "English" more closely... That, I am sure is what prompted him to mention me FIRST on the thread. I replied. If you know my antecedents, you'd agree I'm very good at throwing shades using sarcasm...I declined, I didn't wanna meddle so I gave a straight reply. It was even another friend on the thread who brought it to my attention that Standd called me gullible and a person bereft of home-training. I could have changed it for her at that moment, but I have an absurdly high tolerance limit. So, I threw shades too....albeit softly. I even pitied her at some point based on Larry's jabs at her. You all saw for yourself how she kept convulsing with my sobriquet at the fore of her lips. 9 Likes 4 Shares |

The only valid and seemingly true issue she raised would be my dislike for PMB..... I will like to clear the air on that. How can I hate a person as they describe and smile each time I see his face in the papers? What, however, I cannot bring my self to reconcile, is how a man who claims to be concerned about the lives of 160 million Nigerians can be so unconcerned about the lives of corps members who were being slaughtered in his name. Were it not because of one hitch, I could have been a part of that batch....chances were that I could have served in the North too.... There is not an iota of word, publication or audio-visual anywhere showing PMB condemning those killings in strong terms. I support Jonathan today because of his statement after his loss at the polls. I have read over 10 meanings to that statement. Secondly, how can a person aptly claim to fight corruption when an effigy of same sits right in the centre of their living room? Let anyone show me where I have so much as insulted PMB without apologising. Am I not a human being? Is it wrong for me to have political reservations and leanings. Must I always go with the view of the majority? I would rather think for myself and have no public....has my contributions on this forum broken any known moral law? Why the hate, envy and lies? Why the ire? Why the bad blood? Why do you seek to nail and paint me black to the extent of hurling invective that would supposedly make me bleed, why? It's befuddling and at the same time laughable. YModulus is my friend on NL, thanks to him, I am a mini-importer. He throws shades at the Igbos, he is a confirmed Buharist. I have never confronted him or hated on him because he sees nothing good in Jona. On the issue of tribal bigotry, I have confronted him off NL because I'm Igbo too, and it kinda hurts, especially from someone whom you place much value on. Yet, it has not changed the fact that YM is one of the most kind-hearted, extremely hardworking, resilient and Honest NLers I know. People should be allowed to express themselves without any form of emotional blackmail, judgmentalism or belittling, as long as they conform to known moral laws. That's my belief. I have said enough. I need to go take my bath, I have to be at Protea hotels, Ikeja for an OAAN conference before 9am. In closing, the sobriquet Standd, gives the impression of someone who does not understand the principles of confidentiality, an extremely arrogant person, who loves the same things she vehemently hates, despises and opposes in others. It's sad, truly sad that I would be having nightmares because of how my name was being flung right, front and left in the middle of the night. MizMyColi, you owe no one any explanation as to your political leaning. If today I wake up and decide to hate the president, that is nobody's business. And if that would earn me a legion of haters, by all means so be it. Some people are just beyond redemption. And I don't blame her, I really do not blame her. The first time I tried reading one of her stories that got to FP, I fell asleep before I even got to the end of the first page. That's how boring it was. But for her overblown stories which has in turn created a feeling of 'I am more intelligent than everyone here' mentality in her, no one would even pay attention to her. Except the authorities in YabaLeft. I hate it when people assume a moral high ground after creating a scene. You are taking an exception to someone calling you 'suicidal'. However, you also called someone gullible, jobless and in need of a man. The very tiny nonentities are usually the ones who have this misplaced sense of importance around them. I have made impactful friendships here. I am neither ashamed to admit that I have met people on here who have changed the course of my life for good. For posterity's sake, I think it's in order that they get a public statement from me. Besides, sometimes, you just feel it's high time you said something, we are dependent and social beings. Some people have so perfected the art of pretense that you would find it hard to detect it in them. You really deserve an award miz. Perhaps an Oscar for your amazingly outstanding acting performance on this forum. The dictionary definition of "fake" should be removed and your name used to replace it. I always marvel at how you always play to the gallery, and you are so good at it, especially with the use of your unnecessary, bogus grammar and boring epistles. Niklausa, we would really love to know your real moniker. Because from all indications, you have an axe to grind with Miz. You, who formed an opinion of those who commented on what they saw on that thread, and nothing else. It is clear that even before you joined this argument, you had already assumed a default posture of 'standd is right'. By default, you had already put the blame on Larry and Miz. You created an excuse for standd for her actions and blamed Larry. You said you have sisters, and so her actions were based on her emotions. And now, you are saying that 'you hate pretenders and more so when they are females'. So, why are you not taking Miz's actions as that of a woman who is acting based on her emotions? Some of us made conclusions based on what happened on that thread, you on the other hand have history and had already formed an opinion based on that history and not what transpired there.
