It is not about being the biggest criminals (all naij ethnic groups represented in London are involved in all kinds of crimes. Yoruba just happens to be the most widely spoken African language out here. Heck, a lot of Yoruba words like "pele" are slowly but surely becoming part of the London lingo.

This is for effective policing based on the wider community cos not all people can speak English language fluently. You can't do ya job properly when there is language barrier.
