And these days, it is more diverse with a lot of other Africans especially Sierra Leoneans, South Americans and Eastern Europeans. Yes, maybe the high street, shops, and Peckham Rye - but folks come from all over London to shop there.

Dalston is even more Nigerian than Peckham and Dalston market is worse than Peckham. Hackney probably has more Nigerians than Peckham and all these areas are slums compared to Peckham.

I don't really see the big deal, but at the same time I don't know why people are insulting each other over something so petty. The initiative is clearly aimed at the largest migrant communities in London and the police is trying to diversify their policing, just like the United States Army required a possibility of Igbo. A large amount of the Africans in the UK are Yoruba, and they're the majority of Nigerians. I think certain languages like Somali isn't there maybe because they have enough people who speak it. If you look at the table below you see Yoruba language speakers at school are four times the sample of Igbo speakers, the next largest population from Nigeria. Yeah maybe, and especially with fact that there's more of a community for Yoruba speakers than Igbo so they'll be able to meet more that speak it. But the sample should serve as some insight as to the amount of the ethnic groups in London.
