Why is it dat in the home of married people the wife's mother is always welcome to the house and even made to feel more comfortable than the husband's mother, and also most wives aren't comfortable wth the husband's mother comin around, even in the igbo tradition when there's a new born baby in the family it's the wife's mother that comes visiting and stays for long, pls mature answers needed, thank u and God bless.

In the case of Omugwo or the wife's mother coming to assist when the lady puts to bed

It's only natural that the womans mother comes. The period of after-birth is sensitive enough for the lady without having the added stress of having to uphold pretenses because her mother in law is around

Gosh just imagine shocked

The wife always get across to her mother and easily confide in her more than the husband's mother.
It's a natural phenomenon for the wife to easily get along with his mother and vice versa.
