Well, America is not like Nigeria that those things anyhow, if they want to sell arms to Nigeria, then the matter has to first be presented to congress to decide on. And someone should help me ask emefiele if south Africa the money they seized. If they want me to continue using MTN and watching DSTV, make them return am o... in other news, get this laptop for just #50,000 visit our website.. http://shopwise.com.ng/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=70

How many times have I said that America is not our friend and we should be looking east. Just wasted time, money and goodwill visiting that nonsense country. Since our independence what has America helped us to accomplish. Leahy law my butt. Yet they sell arms to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Israel whose human rights records are 'fantastic' and are bastions of democracy and free speech. Just fed up. 5 Likes |

kpodosky: Iran is looking to crawl her way back into the good grace of the Caucasian powers! Nigeria is not worth it for them. Resisting the west or going directly confrontational with the West will only take you backwards, Iran has been there and back. And be rest assured that US already have moles planted within Buhari govt, any attempt by Buhari to access weapons from the black market secretly will be swiftly thwarted by the US. And I doubt we can get better weapons to out gun BH from the black market. Nigeria should simply swallow her pride and accept US demands, if she wants to survive. This is the price she has to pay for failing to develop a weapon complex, four decades after she depended on British weapons to win a civil war. 5 Likes |

Billions spent on a wild goose chase to US for help on insurgency could have been better invested in replenishing our ammunition by placing order through the black market like the past administration did. I just dont get it why this administration that is trying all means to demonise the past govt ends up using the very tactics it had raised issue with and termed clueless. 3 Likes |

pazienza:Nobody is saying Russia is the perfect choice for Nigeria. They have their own evil side too. The difference between them is that while the United States pretends to be a friend, the Russians show their true colors bluntly. If am ask to choose between the two, I will choose Russia. Better to deal with a known enemy, that way you become adequately prepared for any eventuality because you know what is coming your way, than deal with a known friend who is an enemy behind your back. 3 Likes |

Joenyam: Don't blame US. Blame Nigeria for being unable to manufacture her own weapons. She had been cursed with bad leaders, now she has been turned to a beggar, begging to buy weapons from the world, when she has the human and mineral resources to be manufacturing her own weapons. I said this when people were blaming GEJ for being unable to stop BH. A country that can't manufacture her weapons is a powerless country. No weapons, no military power. 7 Likes |

this a strong plunge from the american government to stronghand the Nigeria government to bend their will. and its a shame that the same Nigeria giant of Africa, can't make their own weapons, but wait oh? I thought the igbos made their own bombs and weapons during biafran war?? Bihari should employ the Igbo's good in the field of weaponry to use their vast ideas in creating what we need. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I'm not surprised that America diplomatically and tactically said no to our arms request.America is playing double standards. If any nation has violated people's rights, it's America. The Vietnam war readlily comes to mind, so too is the Gulf War Reloaded, 2002. America sees Nigeria as the most important, most economically viable and politically strategic country in Africa. This poses a serious threat to America's hegemony.Small wonder they want , and are not relenting, to set up a military base, AFRICOM, in the Gulf of Guinea. The U S will NEVER ever help any nation to develop. If they do, in any way, it's to further their course and protect their interests. This solemn minute is actually a blessing of some sort.We can look inwards and unleash the creative tigers in us. 2 Likes |

See what GEJ suffered from this so called Americans, it was due to the conditions that they are giving Nigeria, that is why the refuse to sell arms to GEJ now they have done the same to Buhari. America and Obama should leave Nigeria alone with their gay marriage thing with all the conditions that will cripple our country. fork you America, fork you Obama. Obama is a big disgrace to the black race and Kenyan's. deniyor: 2 Likes |
