the first time i saw that stuff in the "corn meal - moi-moi" my granny (PBUH) arranged for us, i had no idea i will ever eat any kind of food ever again in my life... until that evening when nature took over. grin grin

l loved it mostly when prepared with maize moi moi(igba gbu oka) and enough vegetable leaves, all mix up together with little palm oil, heated a bit on fire.na im be original natured delicacy.

what did you use in frying it? did you just fry it like that or u used oil?

Oh my God, how I love to eat this. When we were younger we use to fry it and pour it on our soup then with eBa.

Aku-Mbe in my igbo dialect...very yummy..one of wonderful tins abt growing up in Naija.and as for dose calin it "poverty" food, i pity ur generation....
