i solved the 3G bug on the MIUI Rom (bottom power compelled me to do it )
Replace your Build.prop with the one i attached and restore your STOCK NVRAM. That made it come up. i changed just 2 lines in the build.prop, but i think the main thing is the NVRAM.


(the clue for me was that though i wiped the device, when i flashed the MIUI rom the IMEI was intact. Thats not normal for MTK devices, it usually becomes 'invalid'..............

also the stock build.prop has

ro.gemini.smart_sim_switch=false
ro.gemini.smart_3g_switch=0
bgw.current3gband=0

i changed those to

ro.gemini.smart_sim_switch=true
ro.gemini.smart_3g_switch=1
bgw.current3gband=1

if you didn't back up your NVRAM, guess u going to have to find it somehow

i'm guessing this may be useful for other ports and devices, which is why i'm sharing

but its straightforward. a google search will set u straight. most likely there's a thread on NL for it too

I updated the lollipop alpha update on my phone. It has alot of unfinished business but it's lollipop 5.1 anyway... If you want a complete and fully working rom, don't update yet. Wait till the end of August for the complete version. Will let y'all know layer in the day what and what r missing.

Nah, I did try another USB cable, but to no avail, I even tried using another charger n another cable, but it remains the same, it shows changing, but it won't charge even one percent....

pls guys i need help i copied my games to phone storage and it played perfectly without sdcard.... i inserted sdcard hoping for those games to continue playing like they where but the refused instead it promted me to download the data files of those games. pls what can i do for my games in phone memory to play wit sdcard inserted?? help me guys!!!!....

Change your default memory back to the inbuilt memory. when u put in the sd card it automatically changed the default memory to the sd card.

Or jusy copy EVERYTHING in the phone memory into the sd card and reboot

download the latest kingroot which z v4 i think on ur data and make sure u have good connection launch the app u wil c dat padlock click it, it wil nw roll for sometimes when it z done it wil show good the go check ur app drawer if u wil see kinguser if yes then you are done..Note only abt 2MB data to root it

Unmount SD card in storage settings, this will stop the SD card to run.
After playing your games, mount SD card in storage settings to make your SD card function again.

make sure you have a stable network.... goto setting-Apps-look for your play store- clear data and the try logging in again.
