Hi House, I have always been a great observer of this forum Acadollor and all the other folks have been a great assets to this forum Please i would like to ask if anyone (Acadollar,IGWE etc) knows the cost of accommodation in Daegu per month and other cost of living I was giving a Graduate school Admission to a school in that region . Thanks House . |
Re: Thread for South Korea prospective students by Numerouuuno: 2:50pm On Jul 27, 2015 |
akinshokun: I'm not accadolar nor Igwe, but here is my suggestion. Renting houses in Deagu or Incheon or Seoul or busan is stressful. Korean landlords take deposits on every rentage. For daegu, budget 300$ per month excluding utilities and maybe 5000$ deposit. You'll collect your deposit of you don't spoil anything when you pack out. Since a school gave you admission, apply for dormitory and find a house for the coming semester while living in the school dorm. The deposit is a major issue for every body trying to rent houses in Kimchiland! 5 Likes |

Re: Thread for South Korea prospective students by suxes2005(m): 5:50pm On Jul 27, 2015 |
Numerouuuno: Same thing I read and saw online as well. The issue of deposit is a very big one and I think there should be ways Nigerians navigate through that Come to think of it, most people won't go with extra $5k for deposit alone! ~ Sheyi |
Re: Thread for South Korea prospective students by WildChild00(m): 8:19pm On Jul 27, 2015 |
milkydaddy: Normally, most schools in Korea do have their online application designed in their language and poorly translated into English, but you can request for a print version, and filling and post via airmail, then as for most of the schools in Korea, offering low tuition, and hardly reply emails, that is true, expect when there is no English speaker to translate to the officer in charge, speaking from experience, its always advice-able to stick to an English language sch. like GSIS all GSIS schs will reply you within 48hours @ most especially when your email falls within working day. 1 Like |

Re: Thread for South Korea prospective students by suxes2005(m): 6:55pm On Jul 28, 2015 |
akinshokun: Abuja always if you live close to the place. Documents are listed on the embassy's website now milkydaddy: Paddy mi, baba oni miliki Bros, I doubt any school will admit you cause of visa wahala ooo. Before they receive your docs, decide on your admission, issue your docs, then you apply at the embassy and arrival / placement test stuffs, time don go baba mi. But again, there are some schools that has November entrance so you can look them up. They are among the ones you shared the other time. ~ Sheyi 1 Like |

Please I want to know if there's any Futo graduate who has successfully requested for and gotten his transcript sent to Korean schools and how he did it because from what I learnt if I need to apply to 3 schools, then I have to spend 45,000 on transcripts. |
