Do you have any evidence proving that the vehicles (Sandcat, M-ATV) which come with state of the art surveillance systems lack situational awareness?

Price comes into the picture, because I'll like to know what is basically a saloon car with no armour costs upwards of € 800,000.
I said the men need situational awareness. SF aren't infantry.

And where do you get that price? Do you know what's included in it?

Cars keep crushing, so I'll just buy my car from any dealer. Is this what you're saying?

Support: Can the company support the weapon system for next 20 years+.

what situation awareness ! most ATGM have a range of 5 to 7 kilometers dont forget anti-materiel rifles. thats an old doctrine that doesn't apply in this modern age of asymmetrical warfare.may be you need to remember black hawk down, when america choose to go on a raid with light skinned vehicles

They aren't infantry vehicles so aren't designed to meet those threats.

The composition of the force is what led to failure not vehicles.

Of mounted personnel.

You are confusing different types of warfare anf different roles in warfare

Those vehicals are not intended for urban use

They are not intended for use by regular line infantry

They are not even intended for direct action

they are primarily recon assets or for use by light infantry/airborne

I can confidently tell you they would have shipped in their own fuel if the tests
conducted by the secret service proved that those in Kenya was of low grade. How do we even know that they emptied the tanks and filled it with the premium fuel?
apparently they use premium Diesel, the quality is usually the same around the world (or engines will start to break down) unless the supplier is a con-man

We will find out by the end of the year if the Rooivalk production line will be re-opened

Word is that an order of 70 is needed to make it economically profitable (i assume by this they mean "break even")

Brazil is interested (according to defenceweb) and so is SAAF (again, defenceweb)... maybe there is an opportunity in here for Nigeria and other African countries

" fourth regiment of the Namibia Defence Force (NDF) graduated at the Namibia Special Forces School on Friday, after undergoing an advanced training course at the military bastion town of Grootfontein.

Namibian special forces include paratroopers and commandos from the army, navy and air force who are assigned to special operations command. Around 70 trainees are selected out of a squad of 200 to 300 volunteers after a rigorous training programme. Training took 18 months."

What do you guys think about this cheap helicopter at $120,000 a piece
Afalina is designed as a multipurpose helicopter capable of performing the training of pilots, maintenance of pipelines and power lines, aerial surveillance, police patrolling, Afalina’s maximum speed is 250 km/h with the consumption ranging between 12 and 16 liters (3 to 4 gallons) per hour.

That article for me is vague and confusing as always ...We need specialist defense journalists in Namibia. The same paper that published this story once described a military flypast as a "sky dance" by fighter jets grin grin grin grin utterly hopeless in my opinion...Reading on the comments on the various social media platforms it appears that it was actually paras that graduated..So is it safe to assume that paras are organized as part of the special forces??meaning we got commandos, amphibious commandos(from the marines) and now Paras in the special forces I have a million questions grin grin..The only thing that will satisfy my curiosity will be an organogram angry angry

Either way more images of the grads
pic 1: im no para expert but shouldn't u keep your legs together to avoid injury grin grin
pic 2: have u noticed the air force cammo being worn the chief of Air Force is different from the army cammo, the green in the army cammo has been replaced by blue in the air force cammo
