Hello nairalander's, I have been interviewed at the embassy twice this year and it has been denial anyway getting to the embassy I was not asked too much questions just only one question and thereafter the consular will just handover the blue letter to me it has been so frustrating. I need advice I have another interview soon.

Can I take my phone to d embassy n switch it off or just leave it in my hotel
If u like take it, but u can't go in with it
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 7 by Mekurexx: 8:59pm On Jul 26, 2015
If your POE is at JFk and you have a family in NYC, You can go to DC with bus (GreyHound is OK). Arik is direct flight but please DONT enter it. KLM is OK and better than Lufthansa in terms on in-flight experience (IMO) just check for the lowest fares online
HoneyBronzed:
Anybody travelling with Lufthansa or Airfrance? What are the fares like? Are there cheaper airlines? My school is in DC but my POE will be JFK and I plan to leave for DC by bus or train the day after I arrive. Do I need to book my ticket from NY to DC here in nigeria? I plan to do that when I get to NY.

silver spring. Close to Glemont metro. Would have preferred close to Silver Spring metro tho.

Oh okay..for your budget, your best bet might be sharing apartment with someone going to/currently attending UMD.

I-20 is a document sent by the school that has admitted you showing details like your name, course, estimated duration of the course, latest date of arrival/resumption to the school, total fee as well as the source of funds amongst others. It's a very important document such that failure to present it @ the embassy for Visa purpose or @ the Port of Entry would cause one to be denied Visa or entry into the US.

Devote time (probably @ your leisure) to read through the previous parts of the thread. I'm sure you'll get the processes involved and how it works.

thanx bro

Airfrance is cool, I came in with Airfrance
You gonna have a stop over in either Paris or Amsterdam
Airfrance is about 340k, and please book a ticket from Naija to be on the safe side you can pay with your master card

You mean the VO said you cannot travel to the United States? Hahahaha. So funny. What definition did you give? You were probably viewed as a hustler and an intending immigrant even before the interview started.

Re-apply brother and you would be fine.
