1. Bob Marley You can't talk about Jamaica or reggae without mentioning the late, great Bob Marley. Not only did he give a face to Jamaican music all across the world, but he produced two sons, Ziggy and Damian, who continue this tradition through their own musical careers. 6. Peter Tosh Another member of The Wailers, Peter Tosh was significant to the Jamaican music scene in the way he presented himself and used his popularity for change. With album names like No Nuclear War, Legalize It and Equal Rights it's not too difficult to see where Tosh was coming from.
