what i'm saying is dat they will try to improve in the satisfaction of workforce in the banks every year to encourage theor workers. They cant be paying them a fixed amt every year.

To hell with them if they don't pay better than available figure here.. A Bank with over 3million customers and deducting inexplicable deduction ranging from baseless text message from an average of 1million customers per day should do better than what available here

Nigeria workers deserve much more.

A CNA worker(caregiver, babysitter, minder, househelp etc) gets an average $29,000(5.51m naira/yr).

Nigeria workers deserve much more.
In America;
A CNA worker(caregiver, babysitter, minder, househelp etc) gets an average $29,000(5.51m naira/yr).

There is nothing to celebrate about, a banker in nigeria is poor.

Hmmm...interesting!...the money looks good ... and even better after confirmation. But then I think they should be paid even more considering the lonnnnng hours they work. especially the banks that don't compensate with bonuses and allowances.

which allowance are you talking of Sir. To the best of my knowledge, majority of banks(if not all) add up their allowance(s) with the basic salary. Basic salary has never been that much in private organisations, the allowances is what makes it look big.

So, which allowance are you talking of?
If fidelity like, they should pay toothbrush allowance, it can never be up to GTB and Diamond's pay.

I would prefer you call it bonus.

See as una dey calculate another person salary meanwhile we have teashers being paid #12 000 and factory workers #9 000, wheel barrow pushers.

What do we expect them to do, rob dem banks? By the way its nobody's money. wink

Housing and dressing allowance which is paid as upfront at the beginning of a financial year,leave allowance,quarterly allownace, pay for performance (this is paid to every staff and calculated based on how you performed in the immediate past financial year,some banks also pay some kind of tea allowance end of every mnth.

Note that the monthly salary paid by most banks does not include the allowance you claim.so yes,bankers are paid that well but of course theres room for increment
I will want to believe you work(ed) in a bank like i did to avoid further waste of time.
