Hi, It depends on how many weeks you will be there. My sons had the under listed in the US. At Birth - HepB At 8 Weeks - Hep B, DTap/DT/TD; Rotavirus, Hib; IPV and PCV. Some babies take the second dose of vaccines as early as 6 weeks though. Ensure you request for your babies immunization card so that there wont be any mix up in Naija. Newmum15: 2 Likes |

Newmum15: Depends on how old your baby is when you're coming back. They get the hep b at birth then 6 weeks or more can get the first set of shots.. Below 6 weeks, you'll come and get them in Nigeria (don't forget to collect BCG regardless). |

Tatanda17:Got this from a nairaland mum: Check Mount Sinai Hospital Chicago and get phone numbers to call Doc fee was $2050 for vaginal delivery. I dint know this fee till after I delivered because they said they cannot give me a quote cos dey dont know how the delivery will be. I paid $30 for each doc apppintment and all my tests from Nigeria was accepted by my doctor. He was also a Nigerian. Then I paid an extra 202 dollars for something else but I was given a 50% discount so I ended up paying $101. Everything was sha below $4,500. When I got to the financial councellor they gave me a number for the doctors office. So I called to book an appointment. Then the lady on the phone told me they actually do have a Nigerian doctor and they could make an appointment with him for me. I said I don't mind o. That id probably feel more at ease with him. They were all nice there. The doctors office is just about 2mins walk to the main hospital. They are a group of doctors affiliated with the hospital called Access (you can google access group of physicians affiliated with mount sinai chicago). So its them you pay not the doctors directly you get 7 Likes |

I'm not aware of such policies by CBN,some branches would just probably take precautions to PTA issuance dues to the current volatility in the exchange rate.Interbank rate as at today was about N199.. to a $1,but the advice for us all is to buy PTA immediately tickets have been booked,no one can predict CBN new directive. bankers in the house enlighten us about this CBN directive.[/quote] |
