B. Metaphor.

Very crazy question. Me likey..

You had a hand in drafting those Sample Questions don't ya?

Which kind question be this? You're a lecturer in UI, innit?

Make una take am easy o!
Man, words cannot describe the sort of questions I saw on UI past questions, especially on Literature and Government.

I can categorically state that most of the questions are research questions as they are nowhere near the akara questions we solve everyday. They're mostly like a puzzles or better put, quandaries. I needed Google to answer some of the questions.

Tried copy and paste but the words automatically became unorganised, don't have the luxury of time to arrange the questions properly. Below is a screen shot of some of the questions, download and zoom if you don't have at least a five inches screen gadget. Might post more when I've the time.

Damn right!

If you hadn't affirmed it, many would think I was just blubbering.

Wrappin' up questions in so much technical verbiage, thus, makin' em lethal enough to make students get confused and unable to fully comprehend the questions even if they know the bloody answers!

An old trick... Not a particularly pleasant one.

What's left now is to brace up for war... or give in to lethargy and fall a few points below the cut-off marks.

I'd rather keep the latter at bay.

Howdy folks,

Uh... I'm in a bit of a situation here. Cut to the chase; I'd downloaded my 'Sample Questions' and found out that some sort of mistake occured and I somehow had the misfortune of havin' some sort of final examination for a PhD degree program uploaded in my account, instead of the actual practice questions.

How very mysterious.

Of course, I'd put a phonecall through to the University of Ibadan admissions/technical desk to complain, only to be bruttally rebuffed. The reciepient of my call totally went ballistic on me.

Very frustrating.

I mean, do these guys expect Secondary School leavers to answer those questions?... The Government was totally insane, and the Literature in Eng. was from the deepest parts of Hell, I was seeing questions about 'Greek' Literature and some books I've never realy even heard of. The whole thing looked alien to me.

I strongly opine that Prof. Wole Soyinka had a hand in drafting those questions.

I didn't even bother to click on the other two subjects.

Anyone, perhaps, with a similar predicament?

Cassyrooy?
Hahaha! I just did that cos i'm utterly confused, These guys want to examine who? Philosophical Degree holders or Secondary School leavers? There must be a misconception somewhere.

Greek Literature? Nooooooooooo! I'm Nigerian and i want to be examined with Nigerian Texts not alien and antiquated texts.

Government? How am i to know the dude that headed or made recommendation for the 1988 Civil service... Oooohhh! Nonono!
