The National Publicity Secretary of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisah Metuh has raised alarm over a plot by the All Progressives Congress, APC, intended to end up in his arrest.

This was in response to calls made by the APC for him to provide the APC membership card of the newly appointed Director of Department of State Security Service, DSS, Daura Lawal.

Metuh made this shocking revelation, Friday, during an interactive session on African Independent Television, AIT, maintained that Daura was sympathetic to the ruling APC, and had within 48 hours of his appointment, invaded houses, clamped down on the opposition and recklessly intimidating electoral officers to implicate the PDP.

The shocking pictorial evidence produced by the PDP on Thursday to giving credence to the allegation that Daura was a member of the APC made the party throw up an open challenge requesting Metuh to produce his (Daura’s) APC membership card as evidence.

The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Mohammed earlier denied that Daura did not have any link with the party, Friday, shifted ground asking Metuh to produce the membership card of the DSS boss.

Metuh in response stated that he cannot confront the DSS boss who has a penchant for arresting oppositions.

“How can Lai Mohammed tell me to produce the APC membership card of Lawal Daura, Do you want me to be arrested and detained?
“This is a man given the marching order to clampdown on opposition.

“Do you know that within 48 hours of his appointment, he invaded houses and detained people indiscriminately without due process?

PDP must think Nigerians are empty brains like their wailing followers. How do you make an allegation about a person's party membership without sufficient proof? Metuh should admit that he and his party goofed and consequently tender an unreserved apology to the APC and Daura, or present the only concrete proof to buttress their allegation: his APC membership card.

You people are gripped with fear as you don't know yet what evidence Metuh has. It will shock Nigerians when the koko is out! They circulated a newspaper publication where Apc listed names of their members who were to man a particular security section of their campaign, remember the said publication has no heading, it was deliberate because the info is in the public domain and the advertisers and media house involved know themselves, they will be called out if it becomes necessary.


Was that not how BBOG denied being Apc members until Oyegun himself blew their cover on national TV.
