There were strong indications that the All Progressives Congress governors on Friday failed to take a decision on the crisis rocking the party’s caucus in the Senate. http://www.punchng.com/news/senate-crisis-apc-govs-divided-over-saraki/

Is the Legislature not supposed to be independent of the executive or is APC constitution at variance with the Nigerian constitution? This is not the change they promised Nigerians. Choi, we don enter one chance! 26 Likes 2 Shares |

This is no news, they had always been divided. But sincerely, I don't see Saraki/Ekweremadu retaining those seats. If one doesn't go, both might forfeit their positions. 37 Likes 6 Shares |

Saraki's attitude to clinching the Senate Presidency seat is a shame. He should't be given any iota of trust anymore. 31 Likes 4 Shares |

Saraki is the only stumbling block we have now, that man should resign from his duty........ Over ambitious leaders could be very harmful for our democracy 32 Likes 3 Shares |

Sarakill means every letter in the words BETRAYAL AND ARROGANT. Betrayal is synonymous with our polithiefcians, the reason they are always quick to dump their party and defect to another where they feel their interests would be protected . Sarakill and Ekweremadu's days as leaders of Senate are obviously numbered. 20 Likes 1 Share |

I know him very well, he has impoverished the whole Kwara state through his play boy Gov Abdulfatah Ahmed. He's a dictator and autocrat that dictate any phenomenal issue in the state. He has claimed the Lord of the state and vowed that no one control the mantle of leadership from him. He's a man that go any lengthto clinch what ever he's aspiring for. Am from Kwara state but I never pray for him to get to that position because he will be a devil obstacle to the realization of the present administration objective to drive the nation forward. Pls let fear the lord Bukola Saraki. 30 Likes 4 Shares |

Saraki. Saraki.. Saraki... Nawa o. I hope this man won't be a serious problem for this present government. Can't he just resign or is it too late for him to be impeached? He should have known by now he is nothing but a bad omen. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Tinubu's lackeys and their media collaborators like The Punch should keep fooling themselves. We all know that the frivolous allegations would take the mischief makers nowhere... Saraki and Ekweremadu are on this for the long haul. The vote of confidence passed on the Senate leadership some days ago should guide those swimming against the tide on the futility of their effort. 29 Likes 2 Shares |

sabbath316: You can not quickly resolve by forcing other reasonable people to endorse forgery, brigandry and arrogance. Aminu Tambuwal and other Govs having Saraki back should realize Saraki's actions so far are direct attack on other APC colleagues and APC. Common sense followers will be happy at the 2 options emanating from the APC Govs meeting but the main actor in this drama has had opportunities to make amend several times but he chose to give Elders blur eye at every opportunity. Buhari and other opposing leaders are not as stupid as the 'young turks' appear to believe. They can forgive mistakes but they know when mistakes become bullets. 18 Likes |

The APC failed to get the message passed to them and to the Executive by the Red Chamber this week. It says 81 Senators out of living 108 senators passed a vote of confidence on Senate leadership. What part of the resolution is ambiguous. Saraki was voted by 52% and certified by 75% (a super majority) of the Senators. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

IsraeliAIRFORCE: Well history has thought us that things are not always what they seem to be. In this Nation four Senate Presidents were voted in and replaced in four years by 'majority'. These Senate Presidents received many important visitors, had many votes-of-confidence, and many media showboating but they still fell to the banana peel. Saraki current and subsequent actions will dictate where he will be placed in the annal of this nation. 12 Likes |

"Such governors insisted that the forum should wait for the decision of the justice ministry on the police report on the forgery of the 2015 Senate Standing Orders. They prefer the prosecution of everyone involved in the forgery.” Very good 3 Likes |

Ghandi12: Will you vote in the Senate? Will APC Governors vote? Will Buhari vote? Can't you see that 49 PDP Senators, 3 Kwara State APC Senators and the APC Senators of nPDP extraction have disdain for APC leadership. It's unfortunate you are still living in Obasanjo's (1999 democratic experiment) era. Nigeria has moved on, with Tambuwal HOR Speakership including defection, party leadership was helpless hence APC leadership has no say in the Senate. Twice APC Leadership decided, thrice the Senate disgraced them. 75% Senators against Mr President and Tinubu is a frantic statement unless you want to set Nigeria on fire. Your so-called banana peels formula failed when Tambuwal presided over HOR for four complete years. 10 Likes 2 Shares |
