soleexx:Not a lens. That's a proximity sensor. It tells the device when your body is near so it can turn off the screen, useful when making/receiving calls. When you out the phone to your ear, the proximity sensor detects and turns off the screen so you won't accidentally press buttons. Also, depending on your device there might be a light sensor; this is to detect the amount of light present in your environment. If auto-brightness is on whenever you're in a dim environment your phone screen's brightness reduces, and when you're out in the sun your brightness increases so you an see your screen better. Hope this helps. Cheers. |

I hail boys here. I got a new samsung s5 but couldnt get 4g reception on mtn, 4g reception is sure in my area. My pal using s5 active got 4g reception, any help? |
Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by Nobody: 7:14pm On Jul 31, 2015 |
adebasket97:There is no 4G reception in Nigeria, sir. What your friend is seeing is HSPA(3.5G) In some phones, eg the Samsung Galaxy S3 the phone show 4G when it's connected to a H+ network. If you really want 4G then check out Spectranet or Smile. Hope this helps. Cheers. |

adeyiga3: http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-m8-att/news/ you can try that one first, I'm still looking. Although that's foor AT&T, but still try it. That is if you've not downloaded this one before. |
Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by Olumidzti(m): 7:30am On Aug 02, 2015 |
adebasket97:not all models of galaxy s5 has 4g capability. The s5 made for africa, middle east and some part of asia doesn't support 4g because according to samsung, most of those places don't have 4g networks. Check your model number, if it's SM-G900H, it's the model that doesn't support 4g network and it also uses an exynos processor rather than a snapdragon processor. I use the same model.. 1 Like |

Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by Nobody: 11:32pm On Aug 02, 2015 |
Officialcart3rG:I personally don't like non-removable batteries, but I suppose you can get a power bank. And a memory card too, 8GB is small for me- might be enough for you though. Cheers. |
