Royal fathers should be careful before supporting people of questionable characters or they might have themselves to blame. Have they asked Saraki why he chose to humiliate his party Elders? Did they find out from him why he humiliated again? Did they ask him if he is still going to humiliate them again?



Another childish attempt at chicanery. Tinubu and Buhari have in-between them decade experience of political persecution, failed political efforts, and outright exclusion from central influence. These men worked their way to where they are today and they stayed out completely when PDP held sway.

How in the world will Saraki just believe he can deceive these men by appointing their 'supposed' men into positions.

There are fresh indications that President Muhammadu Buhari and the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, have allegedly forged a secret alliance to ease Senate President, Bukola Saraki out of office

The fresh move against Saraki, NewDay learnt is in threefold.

The first part of which has already been experimented through the now waning police report on the alleged forgery of the Senate Rules.

The second, considered as political, is a design aimed at branding Saraki and his supporters as ‘enemies’ of the President.

The third, according to our source, is that Saraki will be pressurised to throw in the towel once his wife, Toyin, who has been interrogated twice by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), is formally charged to court.

Aware of the fresh plot, Saraki has resorted to seeking the assistance of Emirs and traditional rulers to help pacify President Buhari and Tinubu to drop the idea of plotting to ease him out of office.

Already, Saraki has reached out to the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi I and the Emir of his home town, Ilorin, Kwara State, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari to intercede on his behalf with Buhari.
