How to make good profit selling Fairly used clothes?

To make good profit from ok biz , " 50,000 Monthly"; invest in bale,

With 70,000 You can get a good Grade A UK, USA Bale for adult wear ! ( Shirts, tops etc

Note- the 70,000 above is the price I sell , some seller might sell above that!

The 70k bale is 55kg !
And the pieces of clothes inside is between 350- 400 pieces ( depending on clothes texture)

Now let's do some calculation now!

1 piece of male/ Female graded OK shirt is between #700 - #1000 in Lagos market and outside Lagos!

Let's be realistic here , you can't sell all the 350- 400 pcs @ the same price !
Let's assume you 200 pieces @ the rate of 700!

700 * 200 =140,000

Remaining 150 - 200 pieces

Ok, you sell more 100 pieces @ the rate of 400

* 500* 100 = 50,000.


And you sell the remaining
50 -100 @ rate of 300 each

Ok let's assume its even 50pcs remaining, but it more than 50!

So 300 * 50 = 15,000

So total sales = 205,000!
Remove 70,000 investment capital !
Profit = 135,000 ! Hmmm!

That how lucrative the business is!

Let assume you re selling to resellers
( SELLING IT FAST)

I usually sell my 1st grade office shirt ( pieces ) #500 if you re buying 50pieces , up to 150 - 200 pieces #400!

Let's do d calculation !

Note- even if your customers is buying 200pieces sometimes you sell some #500 nd some #400

And if 5 customers re buying 50pieces each , which is 250 pcs all together ; you still sell #500

So let's go #500* 200 pieces = 100,000
Remaining. 150 to 200 pieces !
Let assume you sell 100 pieces #400

#400* 100 =40,000

Remaining 50 or more pieces!

Which you cn sell for 300 to 200 !
#200* 50 =5,000

Total sales 145,000
Minus investment capital 70,000
Profit - 75,000!

HOW TO SELL?

• How to get those that resell,
• How to get final user who can buy each adult shirt for 1,000 - 1,500

hello ppl, I brought my confusion and angst here because I got into this via here, 1.for a bale of gowns if you will find at all shld one find more than 10 pcs of skirts? 2.does one buy grade AAA UK bale and get rags?3 is it possible to order for one bale of a particular clothing and get another entirely diff at twice the price? I met Timmy22 via this forum contacted her, ordered a bale of ball gowns she told me that they were not available but that she had a MIXED GOWN bale which includes jersey gowns,ball gowns,cotton gowns n all I remember asking her how sure she was and she said when she has high taste and only deals in UK brands and all that. on getting my bale to my utter surprise 80 of the bale are skirts, of the remaining that are not skirts they are torn gowns or badly stained ones of the 278pcs of clothing in the bale I have 226pcs of skirts 38pcs of gowns of which 22 are torn or stained beyond repair the rest are spaghetti strap gowns. pls is this a gown bale or a skirt bale and when I contacted this lady the question she asked me is that did she pack the bales? and then she said she is waiting to hear from her suppliers. thats the last I have heard from her Pls ppl am I supposed to pay twice the cost of a bale of skirts? did I order a skirt bale? before I take law into my hands and bloodhounds will come after me pls help me appeal to her to give me the balance I av accepted to buy skirts but I wont pay N120,000 for a bale that cost N60,000.

I tried to ignore this, bt I just ve reply cos of my customers.


No matter how Great a company or business is, they will definitely have 1 or 2 unsatisfied customers; and that is why they have customer care department to listen and solve their customers problem

But in a situation where you try solving a customer's problem and he or she started displaying some funny attitude like threatn and all that , I ignore such people and continue my business.

I deal in fairly used clothes biz, and I ve lots of satisfied customers to my credit.
I dnt just ve customers , my customers recommend more customers to me.


Am talking abt customers I don't even know physically bt my honesty and sincerity has kept me and earn me more patronage.

Anu, we transact business, nd u called and complained abt the good, which is quit surprising; because my customers re always satisfied with my bales.
Without seeing the good u complained abt, I still offer a solution; I ask u to wait till january cos business has close for the year 2015, that u shouldn't worry I will sort things out, only for u to come here after Xmas and start ranting nd threatn.


Get it, as Big as Mtn , Dagote ,Glo is, they still ve unsatisfied customers, but the beauty of it all is to deal with a company or someone who is ready to listen to u, solve the problem and make u smile again.

Many people in this fairly used clothes biz also ve list of unsatisfied customers .
u cnt please every1 cos one is nt perfect, its either they solve d problm with d client or d customer choose to overlook d issue.

You are vry lucky to deal with some1 like me ; who is ready to offer solution ,
But since you want to go abt it with threat , nd involve the right authority accordn to ur words , pls do nd do it fast!

If you are so naïve to understand u bought a contraband and the police don't ve a say in this type of transaction I knw they will explain better to u.

Moreover, you don't need to come here and give empty threat whn you knw the way to my shop. So do come there with ur so call authority!

I don't treat my customers bad, I cherish them cos they re the reason am in business .
