adekzy:This is self explanatory isn't it? The war set the Igbo tribes back obviously. This, coupled with subsequent marginalisations after the war meant they were always going to play a catch up. Op @ Lovesdaisied Can you put 'viewers discretion' warning on your title to warn people of the morbid picture of the king. A bit disturbing. 3 Likes |

Beremx: Smh for you. Mentioning Lalasticlala at anytime doesn't set off his phone alarm and therefore doesn't disturb his sleep. He can only see the mentions when he's awake and logged on to nairaland. As for the part in bold, if you wanted God to bless Igbo land, you wouldn't have campaigned for a man that hates Ndigbo with passion. 34 Likes 1 Share |

Onitsha my city. The city has always been a vibrant one right from its early days.See how organized and pristine the whole place was looking in the early 60's. Thank God Gov Obiano is gradually restoring the city to a more inhabitable one. Onitsha amaka. 10 Likes |

adekzy: Why don't you ask the strangers and the average host how are they faring in West. Strangers and hosts in East how are they faring. Strangers and hosts in North how are they faring Economy of East is 90 percent in the hands of Easterners but those that couldn't compete will move out and look for less competitive grounds to till. When the British, Portuguese, German, Spanish were partitioning Africa were they doing it because they were miserable, now Chinese are mining golds in Northern Nigeria. Stop thinking that Western Nigeria is where igbos are, there are many igbos in West, East and Central Africa taking advantage of those economies where they are lagging behind. Migration is not fuel by poverty 52 Likes 3 Shares |

Nwanne most of them are just ignorant lots. Your 1st, 2nd and 3rd paragraphs are sucker punch. They need to think deeply about that and find out why Igbos out-excel them even on their own soil. LOL AnambraDota: 7 Likes 1 Share |

Igboland will be great once again. When we have learnt our lessons fully then the invincible hand of the righteous one will bring succour to us and He will strike terror in the hearts of our enemies such that confusion will be their lot and all their plots and snares will fail. According to the time of life so shall it be. The current gang-up against us can never last for ever. By His grace I shall see the day it elapses. 9 Likes |

The elegant Haulk suspension bridge spanning Nkisi Stream was built by the newly-established Colonial Government early in the 20th century, to link the Onitsha Marina Road with more remote portions of the government preserve. Beyond it downstream the Marine Offices and the Public Works Department (PWD) headquarters are visible. Photo taken in 1963 5 Likes

adekzy: what went wrong was after the civil war all eastern region monies were seize given them £20 no matter how much millions you might have banked with Nigerian bank, NOTE all seaports and airports were blocked which made lagos port to strive, then business men had no option to move to lagos and kano where they believe goods are entering easily..it was a war of aggression. 6 Likes |
