Guy do you understand the meaning of what you just typed up here! What is the scope of this 'operations,' that you are talking about? What are the things that fall under this scope of 'operations'? Pray, do tell.

Did you even read my post at all? What technical expertise is the man bringing to the table apart from his knowledge of commercial law? His bio says "he oversees the compliance programs of the company and advices on issues related to adherence with compliance regulations." Is that what is needed to revamp NNPC? Will that keep the outdated refineries operating at 90% capacity?

Am not impressed with big titles, as they do not necessarily mean much. What is the job description of his Executive Vice Chairman role?

There are several Igbo engineers excelling in various oil companies that have carried out great projects in the oil sector both at home and abroad. PMB should have looked in their direction.

Looking at this guy now, sometimes you wish you weren't a renegade.

I worked with him in his law firm at Oyin Jolayemi then as his head of chambers. He also had this low key oil servicing company that was not playing it big time. We always disagreed on quite a number of items and i had no choice than to resign at some point.

Perhaps.....just perhaps, if i had remained 'one of his boys', this would have been my time to join mainstream. I had the same experience with Awa U. Kalu (SAN), a one time PA to Akpamgbo. (He later became an AG in Imo State).

Argghhhh.....this my stubbornness sef....
