President Buhari has been doing wonderful things, but one area where he needs to shine his touch light of (Change) into should be the NPF.

A commission should be set up, with a view to shape up the force, both in infrastructure, training, manpower/fire power and most importantly overhaul the culture of corruption and high handed nature of the police.

Mere apologies will not bring back those that were killed via the *accidentally discharged* slogan of the police.

But, the apology is a start.

Nigerians are a forgiving people, so Mr. IG call and educate your boys to order.

There is a new sheriff in town called President Buhari.

The NPF is a big let down to all Nigerians. They are Nigerians nightmare.
The rank and file of the NPF does not have respect and dignity for human life.

Tendering apologies without any apparent effect in the NPF, is like water off a duck's back.

You should call them in the closet and sound a strong note of warning to them. Any officer found wanting should be sanctioned appropriately.

What Nigerians need is a complete and radical transformation in the NPF. They should be professional and duty conscious.

Aapologies from Arase is useless. Put NPF in order. Sincerely there needs to be a total overhaul of that institution. Their idiocy have woven deep into their fabrics.

Very useless! They have apologised several times, yet no change.
Will their continued apologies bring back innocent Nigerians that have been felled by police bullet?

They unleash their weapons on innocent citizens at the slightest provocation.
Most of their atrocities usually go unsanctioned. And this has given them unwarranted confidence to treat Nigerians anyhow.

He should just instill discipline in the police force!
