Goat.com and the likes giving false reports. There wasn't any votes involving Iniesta. The only vote that was done was for the 4th spot, which was contested by Mascherano and Pique.

The other spots were adjusted as is custom. Iniesta was moved to the top spot, and Messi followed suit and then Busi. Not that they did a fresh vote involving Iniesta, Messi and Busi.

On reading that Alves is to take Xavi's 6, honestly I
had this mixed feeling like we're idolising him (Yeah, I know that's an old issue.)
Not that I want it to be retired or reserved, I just feel it'd have been cool if he maintains his shirt number. I don't want to be a pessimist but trust me if he fails to meet the expectation, the fans would 'scream.' Let's be optimistic tho.
