There Is A New Disease In Town! Beware Of "Texting-neck" by Techthins(m): 8:43pm On Jul 31, 2015 |
One Dr. Kenneth, a spinal cord expert, has discovered something quite disturbing while treating several patients, and he has proven its existence in a study. According to him, adults spend about four hours a day bent over their laptops and Smartphones. But, with teenagers, the number of hours spent texting and surfing the Internet can run as high as 5,000 hours a year. He further said, the constant humpbacked posture and staring, bent over at a screen has led to an unexpected health problem: “texting-neck” – a condition leading to a severe and incessant pain in the neck region. A young patient examined by Dr. Kenneth first exhibited the shocking malformation, through constant bending of her heavy head, her spine had begun to bend in the other direction. Though it takes years for such deformity to develop and it occurs mostly among older people. But through extreme smartphone addiction, children and teens are more vulnerable as their bones are easier to warp. In addition to heavy neck and back pains, “texting-neck” can also cause excruciating migraines, shortness of breath, and numbness in the arms. To avoid this situation, there is one thing you can do: take precautions. More movement is naturally the most essential thing of all. So, always hold your phone in front of your face while keeping your back straight. And, watch your neck! Source: www.techthins.com

Techthins: You're the op, show the link to a reputable source.journal or news.. Like I said,no fp for you Even the grammar says it all.. 1..one dr Kenneth..e nor get surname.. 2..there's nothing like a spinal cord expert.it's a neurosurgeon. 3..there was no discovery..it can be called an observation.. This op.you've obviously not done a final year research else you'd have been able to lie almost perfectly. |

Techthins: Stop displaying your untrainability.. The article didn't say dr Kenneth..it's Steven Shoshany.. The second link didn't even indicate anybody on the list was a spine specialist.look though those qualifications individually.. Why am I even having this time if not to educate you. |
