A friend of mine started filling his application form for the past 2 weeks. he is being careful with the things he fills but haven retrieved it several times and saved, he thought it might affect his opportunity if he submit the same application.
He wants to abandon that application and fill another one at once and submit.

It was fun bn interviewed by the guy in cubicle 8.. .no single document asked / checked.it was like a chat wt a friend. The ladies there today were very hard nuts..they were drilling machines o.lol..i really want to appreciate nairaland.i read every post over a period of 2 months. Google was my home teacher.. I so read dat in my sleep I will be seeing my research. I pray for every body applying to get their approval ijn amen

He posted that his visa was approved on July 23....

@Dyke004 where in Colorado are you headed? It can get really hot, but I love the mile high city of Denver...boiling heat in the summer and you only have to drive an hour out into the mountains and you'll be seeing snow.

I need your advise i can an existing US Visa which got last year August wanted to use for vacation and birthing purpose but i ended up not going again. I intend going with my son later this year, i want to apply for his visa please what are my chances of getting visa for him and also advise on the burden of proof to carry along to the embassy.

It was fun bn interviewed by the guy in cubicle 8.. .no single document asked / checked.it was like a chat wt a friend. The ladies there were very hard nuts..they were drilling machines. Esp the one in cubicle 6 drilling and denying most people..i really want to appreciate nairaland.I read every post over a period of 4 months now. Thanks again. The transcript goes thus:

On the appointment website, try and change the old DS number to the new DS number. The system will not allow it but will ask you to send an email for assistance, do that and someone will respond to guide you through - all by email. You must have requested a new appointment without changing your previous DS number. In your email mention the old application ID and the new application ID (DS number). Good luck.

Hello guys ,this appointment scheduling thing na wahala ooo..if one is not careful.I created a profile on the appointment platform but realised I had mistakenly typed in my previous passport number instead of the new passport number.Though I have not booked an appointment or submitted it yet,but the portal would not allow me change the passport number.I have malied lagosNIV and I was asked to send a mail to ustraveldocs,I have sent the mail and its taking forever to respond and appointment dates have started flying into october already( I am intending to travel late august or early september).My thought here is maybe I shld go ahead and schedule my appointment with the mistake and secure a date first then mail them to correct the mistake on the passport number later,cos am afraid that by the time they attend to me dis thing would get to november ooo.

I saw Etihad LOS-JFK via Abu Dhabi really cheap. September ending, returning mid October for 225k, I'm scared to book because of the Etihad reviews I read on here, and Chloe7 also complained about them when she flew them to LHR earlier this year.

Please who has had good flights with etihad to the US?

I also saw arik non-stop to JFK for 203k , but I'll pass!

Tanx. But a colleague said he filled "Government" in his own application which was granted last month. Though confused since under "Education" we have two categories " GOVT & PRIVATE". My colleague said since we are "Civil Servants" we should fall under the "Government" option. Please kindly clarify.
