Your hubby need to submit his own package to Sheffield while you submit yours in Lagos.(That is if he is based here in the UK)

You can submit your own call log if you call your husband from time to time but if he is the only one making the calls then his own call log alone will do

@justwise thank you for the quick response:
below are the documents am submitting FOR MY APPLICATION HERE IN LAGOS:
TB CERTIFICATE
PROOF OF ENGLISH TEST RESULT
FACEBOOK CHAT
COPY OF MARRIAGE CERT (AS HE WILL SUBMIT ORIGINAL IN SHEFFIELD)
EVIDENCE OF MONEY TRANSFER, WESTERN,MONEYGRAM,BANK STATEMENT
PICTURES
COPY OF EMAILS
PHONE CALL LOG
HIS PREVIOUS TRAVEL TICKET TO SHOW HIS VISITS
EMPLOYMENT LETTER
PAY SLIP
BANK STATEMENT
LETTER FROM MY EMPLOYER
PROOF THAT I PAY TAX
INT'L PASSPORT
APPLICATION FORM
COVER LETTER AND LETTER OF APOLOGY FOR OVERSTAYING

Please is there anything am missing out

Please has anyone flown Royal Air Maroc or Kenyan Airways recently? Are they cool?
Bcoz August prices re not friendly right now angry

My visa application itinerary was to travel August but now i have my visa na September i go travel o. Flights are too expensive but i will not fly Kenya airways/Royal Air Maroc. My uncle was ill and needed to go to UK urgently for medical attention. i went to BA @ MMIA on Tuesday 21st July for a flight next day and paid N451,000 Economy, the same flight he bought N229,000 in February and returned in April, he normally buys a one year ticket and changes date when he's tired of Uk and want to return to Nigeria. Old 84 year old man.

1. The bank statement has to be your salary account and if you have other payment other than your salary then you need to explain it.

2. Family pictures will help your application

3. Add your property, car documents if you have one.

4. Mini-budget of what the trip will cost you....booking a flight is not necessary but add the actual cost in your budget.

5. Outline things you tend to do in the UK within that period.

You don't need to add any prove of tax payment unless you own the company.

Those documents are good but i think they will take just the TB certificate and the application form and ask you to send the rest to SHEFFIELD.

So the best thing to do is to go with all the documents then they will take the ones that are needed in Nigeria and tell you what to do with the rest.

Professor Justwise and the other senior lecturers in the house. Please I need your urgent attention.

The questionnaires are straight, but to avoid mistakes, I have decided to run here for this very question.

Question: Please enter details of what you plan to do whilst in the UK.

Answer I wish to Give: Pre-Inspection of equipment at XYZ LIMITED, UNITED KINGDOM ( Please note; that is exactly what the company stated in the invitation letter to my company)

Will my brief answer be sufficient?

Can I fill application with CAP LOCKS?

Thank you.

You will need to give full details of the company that you are visiting.
You will need a detailed letter from them inviting someone to visit and explaining why.
You will need to provide details of where you will stay. It should be close to the company that you intend to visit.

Thank you Prof. Worry357.

Let me worry you a little more.

I have the invitation letter and it clearly states " Pre-shipment inspection of equipment before they are sea freighted to Lagos" ( Please note that we bought equipment from the UK company)

I have already booked a hotel close to the company.

Please what do you mean by give full details of the company I am visiting? Where should I input that?

Thank you again.

Professor Justwise your contribution will also help. God bless.

Hello Good People in the House,

I need your guide on like questions or what to be avoided on this trip of mine. I came back from U.K on a 6 days conference trip. (I spent just 6 days as stated in application) but now I intend travelling back in September on leave to visit my cousin who had earlier invited me for visit but refused ( i did not appeal because I was not keen to travel then but not have my visa which will expire before the end of the year). Is there anything I have to do. I intend spending 25 to 30 days in U.K with on approved annual leave from my office. Thanking you for guide. Regards to Justwise for always being there at all time. God will continue to enlarge your coast.

@frontpagelawyer, nothing wrong with your response. mine was equally short "to attend training at .....". all the best.

Instant refusal.

Use your personal account to apply for a family trip and not a corporate/business account.

Yelps!! Got my 2yrs UK visa yesterday after just a 6months single visit, with my wife and daughter getting 6months each.

Applied on 22nd July @ VI

Hello People (Justwise).... So my 14 years old nephew was refused visa on grounds that
1. His birth certificate was just issued without giving satisfactory reason where the first one was
2. No prove that he has met his uncle (me)

One of the ladies outside the visa centre advised my sister to apply for a review that the reasons makes no sense. Please house, advise me on this case. What should we do. I really don't have pix with him and he didn't get a birth certificate when he was born either (careless Nigerian way of life ) help pls. Thanks

It's better for him to get the birth certificate with affidavit. The one that has passport attached.

The lady who outside the visa centre said not to add any other document as they won't consider it as a review anymore. She said just to explain why he got a new one a week before applying . I don't know if that is a good option

Hi fam, how work/business/market today?
@Ogreene congrats on ya visa.
To all who got recently, congrats!

Pls advise me to advice a friend.
She wants to go for a conference in UK in October. Her reason is networking. But here is the thing
1. She just started a job like 2 months ago with 70k salary.
2. She said the trip will cost her abiut 1.2M.
3. She wants to borrow this 1.2M to go for d conference which includes Passport, application n flight ticket. She has someone to accommodate her. Tho she is still looking for who will loan her.

To me, it doesnt sound wise tho good that she is trying to upgrade herself. But pls, my ple what do you think...how wise is this move and what r her chances for a visa?

If that is what the visit is all about then yes the answer is good enough.

Don't fill it with cap locks only if you are instructed to do that.
